He has a lot to learn about playing on the defensive line; however, to be on the field outside of playing special teams. He entered college as a wide receiver before transitioning to tight end and then as an edge rusher. This guy has potential off the charts and for the right team able to develop his skills, they could be surprised with his production. Entering the NFL, his ceiling seems to be average, but the right coaching can change that. Many scouts project Gumbs Jr. to be an average backup and solid special teams player.
