Surely, any team looking for a talented playmaker would love to get him. How about the Buffalo Bills? Luke Easterling of Athlon Sports released a mock draft that has the former Washington star relocating to Western New York:

“26. In this year’s draft, the wide receiver position is filled with playmakers who are ready to contribute immediately and could still be available during the later stages of the first round. Denzel Boston, Texas A&M’s KC Concepcion, and Indiana’s Omar Cooper Jr. all good candidates. Will Boston end up in Buffalo? It’s certainly possible.

Bills Land Washington Wide Receiver Denzel Boston in Recent Mock Draft

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBrQCmb6XQ" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 2865px; aspect-ratio: 2865/1910;" ></smartframe-embed>

His Career Thus Far

Denzel Boston starred at Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, Washington. He recorded 105 receptions, 1,572 yards, and 23 touchdowns during his high school career. He then committed to the University of Washington.

During his first two years at Washington, Boston played behind current NFL receivers Rome Odunze, Jalen Macmillan, and Ja’Lynn Polk. However, he became a starter in 2024. That year, Boston led the Huskies with 807 receiving touchdowns and nine receiving touchdowns. He was also named honorable mention All-Big Ten by coaches and the media.

Boston played 12 games in 2025, catching 62 passes for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also had a great performance in the LA Bowl, recording six catches for 126 yards and a touchdown. In addition, Boston was named a third-team All-Big Ten selection. He then declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Should the Bills Draft Him?

As Easterling pointed out, Buffalo traded for wide receiver D.J. Moore this offseason. The former Carolina Panther and Chicago Bear is a quality veteran. He has recorded at least 800 receiving yards in six of his eight NFL seasons.

But although the Bills have already acquired Moore, the team will likely still consider drafting a wide receiver in the first round. Buffalo’s wide receiver unit generated the ninth-fewest yards in the league last season. No, that’s not very good at all.

Selecting Boston could help the team out. He’s a tall receiver (6’3 1/2”) with a large catch radius and big hands. He’s also known to run crisp routes and had a drop rate of only just 2.5% in college.

Last season, Bills quarterback Josh Allen failed to get to the Super Bowl once again. The former NFL MVP needs all the help he can get for Buffalo to finally take the next step. While Denzel Boston is no Prime Jerry Rice, he can surely help Allen and Co. in 2026.

An analyst has the Buffalo Bills drafting Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston, who could emerge as an offensive weapon for Josh Allen.

<smartframe-embed customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBiwGFx0Uv" style="width: 100%;max-width: 3072px;aspect-ratio: 3072/2048"></smartframe-embed>
[1647,3,33761,6431
33533,3780,33767,2599
post-276006","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-draft","category-bills","category-mock-drafts","category-nfl-teams","tag-2026-nfl-draft","tag-d-j-moore","tag-denzel-boston","tag-josh-allen
["GET
