Faulk is still a young and raw player with impeccable character who will fit will in any locker room. The former Tiger still had a productive collegiate career and, in his final season, was a team captain, en route to playing and starting in all 12 games on the edge. He was a Third Team All-SEC honoree and made 32 consecutive starts dating back to 2023, and totaled 29 tackles, including 5.0 TFL and 2.0 sacks, with four pass breakups, and one fumble recovery.

Faulk’s productivity, measurables, and Relative Athletic Score (RAS) are eerily similar to those of the 17th overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft, Shemar Stewart, with the Cincinnati Bengals, and he’ll likely follow the same draft path in the first round. The team that takes Faulk will need to be tolerant, as he will need time to develop at the next level and could be a force to be reckoned with down the road.

Strengths

Great leader with high character;

Young player who won’t turn 21 until September;

Long arms allow him to strike first to gain control;

Employs diverse pass rush sets;

Above average as a run defender;

Relentless motor;

Disciplined player who maintains gap integrity.

Weaknesses

Inconsistent at times;

Lateral agility needs work;

Plays tall with hand placement that needs refining;

Lacks physicality too often.

NFL Comparison: Shemar Stewart

Teams With Need At Position: Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders.

Projection: First Round

Bottom Line on Keldric Faulk

The bottom line on Faulk is that he possesses the size and has many of the traits that will have NFL teams salivating. His youth, coupled with his leadership skills, will serve him well, as his ceiling is high if he lands in the right spot with proper coaching. Faulk is long, and this is both to his benefit and detriment, especially when rushing the passer. He must also become a more consistent player at the next level, but the potential is there if the team that selects him exudes patience and allows him ample time to grow into a three-down player.

*Stats and research provided courtesy of NFL Draft Buzz and NFL.com

Main Photo: Jake Crandall/ Advertiser-USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Keldric Faulk is one of the more intriguing prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft.
