Before joining the Colts that year, the cornerback spent four months with the Patriots before deciding it wasn’t the right fit for him. The Patriots waived him before the regular season, which led the team to claim him off waivers.

Through the nine years, the cornerback hauled in 11.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, 21 interceptions, 68 pass deflections and 649 total tackles. Moore quickly responded to the trade agreement and simply stated, “It’s all good. It’s all love.”

The former Pro Bowler wasn’t the only Colt that fell victim to the trade market. The team traded core players like Michael Pittman Jr. to Pittsburgh while sending Zaire Franklin to Green Bay. Indianapolis is still trying to find a trade partner for QB Anthony Richardson as he remains on the roster.

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBpPd3x17V" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 3815px; aspect-ratio: 3815/2543;" ></smartframe-embed>

BREAKING: Colts, Kenny Moore II Agree to Seek Trade; 3 Potential Landing Spots

However, Moore was already on the brink of a trade either way. The cornerback is entering the final season of his current three-year deal, and now the team has no desire to extend it. The Colts have Sauce Gardner, who they brought in via a trade last season before the trade deadline and Chavarius Ward on huge contracts. It’s a reason why they traded Pittman and gave WR Alec Pierce a monster deal.

It shouldn’t be long before the veteran cornerback finds a home. Despite being 31-years-old, he has a lot left in the tank, though he did deal with an Achilles injury last season.

Possible Destinations

Dallas Cowboys

Last season, the Dallas Cowboys arguably had one of the worst sets of cornerbacks in the league. The team released Trevon Diggs during the 2025 campaign, but kept Daron Bland throughout the overhaul. Even though the team signed Derion Kendrick and Cobie Durant, they’re on one-year deals for depth. The Cowboys can’t afford to get cheap here, so they must go after the best cornerback on the market, and that would be Moore.

Dallas could entertain the idea of calling Baltimore for Marlon Humphrey, but since Moore is in the last year of his deal, it makes it more manageable for the team to acquire him. Shavon Revel Jr. isn’t ready for a full-time role yet, but the Cowboys could make the move for Moore on the third day of the NFL Draft.

Kansas City Chiefs

Meanwhile, the Chiefs are in dire need of a reliable starting cornerback. Due to budget constraints, the team lost several secondary depth, including Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson. Kansas City addressed the safety unit, signing Alohi Gilman, but they haven’t found their replacement for at least Watson. Moore might be on the older side, but nobody loves veterans more than the Chiefs, who are always in the postseason conversations.

Kaiir Elam was the latest addition to the cornerback room, but he’s going to be used more for depth.

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are the wild-card fit in this situation. Carolina made major moves this offseason, signing Jaelan Phillips and Devin Lloyd to long-term deals. Last offseason, the Panthers did something similar, acquiring Tershawn Wharton and Tre’Von Moehrig to strengthen the defense.

If everyone else fails for Bryce Young, the team could easily lean on their formidable defense. They already have Jaycee Horn and Michael Jackson, who signed long-term contracts, but Moore doesn’t need to be full-time anymore. Moore could easily fit into this system to help Horn at least elevate the secondary alongside Moehrig.

The Indianapolis Colts, former Pro Bowl CB Kenny Moore II have agreed to explore a trade and these three teams are likely interested.

<smartframe-embed customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBx3qR10ej" style="width: 100%;max-width: 2729px;aspect-ratio: 2729/1820"></smartframe-embed>
[36,30,19,12,16,6431
7739,7811,7422,7800,7489,7466,32089,32193,246,7661,9573,9107,5267
post-273689","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-news","category-panthers","category-cowboys","category-colts","category-chiefs","category-nfl-teams","tag-carolina-panthers-news","tag-chiefs-featured","tag-dallas-cowboys-news","tag-indianapolis-colts-news","tag-jaycee-horn","tag-kansas-city-chiefs-news","tag-kenny-moore-ii","tag-lastest-nfl-news","tag-nfl-news","tag-panthers-featured","tag-sauce-gardner","tag-trent-mcduffie","tag-trevon-diggs
["GET
