Remember the Titans? Or more like, remember the Houston Oilers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On March 12, 2026, the Tennessee Titans<\/a> officially unveiled a massive brand overhaul and new uniforms. The rebrand marks a fresh start for the Titans, heavily leaning into a modern interpretation of their \u201cLuv Ya Blue\u201d Houston Oilers<\/a> heritage while celebrating their identity in Nashville.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Titans previously used Navy Blue as their main color, while the Oilers were famous for a much more vibrant look. The Oilers’ palette from 1960 to 1996 consisted of Columbia blue, scarlet red, and white.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Features of the Titans’ 2026 Uniforms<\/h3>\n

Six String Stripe<\/strong>:<\/em> A major design element featured on the sleeves, pants, and helmet. It is a nod to Nashville\u2019s Music City moniker, with six thin lines representing guitar strings integrated with the main stripes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Helmet Design<\/em><\/strong>: For the first time in franchise history, the Titans used a white helmet with a white face mask. The navy blue helmet has been retired as the primary option.<\/span><\/p>\n

Logo Update<\/em><\/strong>: The flaming thumbtack has been replaced by a cleaner, circular logo featuring a strong \u2018T\u2019 in the center. It retains the three stars from the Tennessee state flag.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chest Plate<\/em><\/strong>: In a unique twist, the home and away uniforms feature different wordmarks. The home uniform, which will feature the new Titans<\/a> blue, features \u2018Titans\u2019 across the chest.
