Enunwa suffered the injury during training camp practice on Saturday. His third year in the NFL saw Enunwa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/teams\/nyj\/2016.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">finish with 857 receiving yards<\/a> and four touchdown grabs, both of which led the team. His 14.8 yards per reception was good enough for 17th in the league.<\/p>\n<p>The team shed quite a few veteran players during the off-season. And the receiving corps found itself directly impacted by the moves. Both <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=MarsBr00,MarsBr01&amp;search=Brandon+Marshall&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brandon Marshall<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DeckEr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eric Decker<\/a><\/strong> departed, signing with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/story\/0ap3000000791338\/article\/brandon-marshall-signs-with-giants-on-twoyear-deal\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Giants<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/jetswire.usatoday.com\/2017\/06\/18\/report-ex-jets-wr-eric-decker-signs-with-titans\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tennessee Titans<\/a> respectively. Marshall accounted for 788 yards receiving and three touchdown grabs, while Decker&#8217;s season ended prematurely due to a shoulder injury.<\/p>\n<p>Those departures, combined with the news on Enunwa, means that <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AndeRo04.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robby Anderson<\/a><\/strong> is the returning receiver with the most yards from last year. Anderson played in all 16 games, made eight starts and finished third behind Enunwa and Marshall with 587 receiving yards. But this latest development thrusts him into the spotlight on a dangerously thin unit. Rookie <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonnfl.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2017\/03\/24\/ardarius-stewart-2017-nfl-draft-profile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>ArDarius Stewart<\/strong><\/a> may also see an expanded role.<\/p>\n<p>Gang Green already has myriad questions at the quarterback position. 38-year-old <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McCoJo01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Josh McCown<\/a><\/strong> is the likely week one starter. Behind him is <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/PettBr01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bryce Petty<\/a><\/strong> who made four starts last year and finished with three touchdown passes and seven interceptions. Third-stringer <strong>Christian Hackenberg<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/christian-hackenberg-ordered-off-practice-field-breaking-huddle-2017-8\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">was reportedly kicked out of practice on Monday<\/a> for failing to break the huddle properly.<\/p>\n<p>The Jets get their 2017 preseason started on Saturday when Decker&#8217;s Titans come to MetLife Stadium.
