The NFL Playoffs officially got underway this past weekend, and the Wild Card round absolutely delivered! The first four games came down to the final minutes in an absolutely thrilling fashion, while the final two games gave us unfortunate blowouts. With that being said, we have much to look forward to in the Divisional Round, but let\u2019s wrap up Wild Card Weekend first in the NFC.<\/p>\n

2026 NFL Playoffs – NFC Wild Card Round Recap<\/h2>\n

Chicago Bears<\/h3>\n

The Bears<\/a> scored 25 fourth-quarter points to come from behind and beat the Packers 31-27 to keep this party going into the divisional round. Caleb Williams (two passing touchdowns) made several plays in the fourth quarter to give the Bears the opportunity to win the game.<\/p>\n

Green Bay Packers<\/h3>\n

The Packers<\/a> almost played flawlessly as Jordan Love threw four touchdowns, but the offense stalled in the second half as Green Bay blew a 21-3 first-half lead. Their season ends with another loss to Chicago to finish 9-7-1, and questions about Matt LaFleur\u2019s job.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Rams<\/h3>\n

It took a vintage Matthew Stafford game-winning drive to beat the Panthers, but the Rams<\/a> are moving on after a thrilling 34-31 victory over the Panthers. The Rams will want to tighten things up heading into the next round, especially on defense, after surrendering 31 points, as well as treating Stafford\u2019s finger injury, which he suffered during the game.<\/p>\n

Carolina Panthers<\/h3>\n

Carolina<\/a> gave the Rams all they could handle, but they ultimately came up a bit short. Bryce Young proved a lot of people wrong this season, as well as Dave Canales. You can count on the fact that the Carolina Panthers will be back<\/a>.<\/p>\n

San Francisco 49ers<\/h3>\n

The Niners<\/a> pulled out all the stops and got the win on the road in Philly by a score of 23-19. Despite losing the turnover battle and George Kittle, San Francisco put it all together, stifling the Eagles\u2019 offense to move on to the divisional round.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Eagles<\/h3>\n

The Eagles<\/a> had everything in their favor, but the offense could not score enough points. Philadelphia ends its season with an 11-6 record, and I am sure Howie Roseman is already looking at ways to improve this team.<\/p>\n
