We will be ranking each game in order of difficulty (with one being the most difficult). This series will be split up into the eight most difficult games (ranked 1-8) and the eight easiest games (ranked 9-16) for each team. In this article, the Tennessee Titans easiest games are the focus.

Tennessee Titans Easiest Games in 2017

9. Week 5 at Miami Dolphins

It’s a road game after playing the Texans a week ago. However, the Dolphins are coming back from London, England. This will play to the Titans advantage as the Dolphins will lose a day due to jet leg and travel. It may also be a Dolphins team with no Ryan Tannehill after his injury in training camp.

Whether Tannehill is playing under center or not, the Titans had their way with the Dolphins last season, sacking the Dolphins signal caller six times and picking him off twice in a 30-17 victory.

10. Week 14 at Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals host the Titans in their third straight home game, with the two teams before Tennessee the Jags and Rams.

For the Titans, they began a crucial stretch. From Week 14 to Week 17 they have the Cardinals, 49ers, Rams, and Jaguars. Should the Titans run the table, it should clinch the division. Expect the Titans to stack the box and limit David Johnson. If they can force Carson Palmer into throwing it; the Titans pass-rush should be able to get to him enough and flip the field for Marcus Mariota.

11. Week 9 vs. Baltimore Ravens

The first game for the Titans after their incredibly lucky week eight bye, and they get a Ravens team that hasn’t played against Mariota. Their last meeting came in November of 2014. Since then the Titans have been on the rise and have improved their line, which should give the Ravens some serious trouble. Don’t expect them to sit there in awe of Mariota’s ability (well maybe), but don’t expect them to be able to contain him and the offense.

12. Week 2 at Jacksonville Jaguars

It won’t be a blowout, but by the second half the Titans should have their lead and force Blake Bortles in throwing the ball. When that happens, the Jags tend to lose.

It’s Leonard Fournette‘s first regular season game in Jacksonville. As long as the Titans contain him from the get go and not allow him to get the fans fired up, Tennesse should be fine. They will pound the ball for the first two-quarters and as already stated, pull away in the second half.

13. Week 17 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

This may not even be all that important. By the final week the Titans could have the division clinched, but if not, it’s excellent to have home field against a weak AFC South rival.

Could Bortles be replaced by then??

14. Week 16 vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have a good defense, and that’s about it. Todd Gurley is a top back in the league, but it’s a shame the line won’t block for him, and he doesn’t have a quarterback to help empty the box. The game comes on Christmas Eve. One can hope Mike Mularkey is clever enough to send out all the players the Titans got in the Jared Goff trade as team captains. It would be the ideal Christmas gift for Titan fans.

15. Week 7 at Cleveland Browns

The Browns are finally an exciting team to watch with all the draft picks they got this year. However, the Titans can’t afford to lose ahead of their bye week to the Cleveland Browns. Tennessee will be ready to play in this one.

16. Week 15 at San Fransico 49ers

Pierre Garcon is their number one wide out and might need to play quarterback too.

Be sure to check out the most difficult games of the 2017 Tennessee Titans schedule.

Embed from Getty Images

Last Word on Pro Football is analyzing the schedules for all 32 NFL teams.
