Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills offense is exactly as good as Josh Allen on any given week. While Allen has the talent to singlehandedly win games, yesterday’s loss shows what happens when the quarterback has an off day. Buffalo must add some talent to raise the floor of this offense, and an A.J. Brown trade makes all the sense in the world.

Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid are fine role players, but neither guy is a game-changing star. The rest of the depth chart, meanwhile, is comprised of unremarkable depth pieces. Allen needs a genuine game-changing talent, and Brown can help this team take down the New England Patriots in 2026.

Dec 14, 2025; Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA; Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (17) passes the ball against the New England Patriots in the second half at Gillette Stadium. Just about every analyst out there believed Harrison was an elite prospect, but he hasn’t captured that form at the game’s highest stage. A change of scenery could be in order, and the Cardinals could trade him to the Eagles for A.J. Brown.

Jonathan Gannon and Kyler Murray will not be around in 2026, so the next coach and quarterback will need a reliable receiver to help rebuild the offense. Brown and tight end Trey McBride should give this offense enough talent to remain competitive next year, even if it won’t lead to a championship.

Nov 3, 2025; Arlington, Texas, USA; Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (18) celebrates with teammates after scoring a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys in the first half at AT&T Stadium. New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have their quarterback of the future in second-round pick Tyler Shough. Now, it’s time to support him and create a sustained winner. There is no bigger competitive advantage than a franchise quarterback on a rookie contract, and the Saints four-game winning streak proves that Shough can be the future of this franchise.

The NFC South will be wide open in 2026, and an A.J. Brown trade could give New Orleans all the firepower it needs to win the division. Brown still has some juice in his tank, and he and Chris Olave could form one of the league’s better receiver duos. Shough is good enough to keep both receivers happy, and this could be one of the league’s better passing attacks next year.

Dec 7, 2025; Tampa, Florida, USA; New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough (6) throws downfield during the second quarter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium. Yes, it was against a bad Jets defense, but this type of play is rare. New England is well ahead of schedule in their rebuild, as it won the AFC East and should be a top-two seed in the playoffs.

No matter what happens in January, this future is bright for this team.
