It was a resounding victory for the San Francisco 49ers<\/a> in Week 16, while the Seattle Seahawks<\/a> barely outlasted the Los Angeles Rams<\/a>. The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> continued playing out the string, so at least that piece doesn\u2019t change. The question, though, is how does that impact our NFL Power Rankings? That means it\u2019s time to take a look at our Week 17 NFC West Power Rankings following an exciting Week 16.<\/p>\n

Week 17 NFL Power Rankings: NFC West<\/h2>\n

#4 \u2013 Arizona Cardinals<\/h3>\n

With only 203 passing yards, the jig was finally up on Jacoby Brissett last week. The fact that it came against an Atlanta Falcons team isn\u2019t an especially good sign. Did they find a running back in Michael Carter? Trey McBride had a rare down game, and Marvin Harrison failed to make an impact. How many pieces here will be on the 2026 version of the Arizona Cardinals?<\/p>\n

#3 \u2013 Los Angeles Rams<\/h3>\n

With two weeks left in the regular season, it might seem obvious or boring to run this based on the standings, but at least with the Rams, that\u2019s what I\u2019m doing here. It was a collapse on defense and special teams for Los Angeles last week in what could have been a deciding divisional game. Quite simply, the defense let the Rams down, even if Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua single-handedly tried to stop that from happening.<\/p>\n

#2 \u2013 San Francisco 49ers<\/h3>\n

At some point, being without Fred Warner and Nick Bosa might prove to be a problem for the San Francisco 49ers. However, that moment hasn\u2019t come just yet as, instead, they are finding their groove. Brock Purdy is back playing some of the best football of his career, along with a cast of offensive weapons led by Christian McCaffrey. We’ll know a lot more about this 49er squad after their Week 17 matchup with a surging Bears team<\/a>.<\/p>\n

#1 \u2013 Seattle Seahawks<\/h3>\n

To be the best, you have to beat the best. That\u2019s what the Seahawks did last week, and despite their defensive struggles, we have to give them credit. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been insane this season, Rashid Shaheed brings a great speed mix to the table, and Sam Darnold has been solid. It\u2019s going to be an exciting two weeks to see if the Seahawks can hang onto the top spot.<\/p>\n
