Every season, there&#8217;s a handful of players who sustain an injury during organized team activities, mini camp, training camp, or preseason games. Last season, during the preseason, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/17414579\/nfl-tony-romo-dallas-cowboys-back-injury-why-serious-treatment-plan-long-term-effects\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Cowboys lost <\/a><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RomoTo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tony Romo<\/a><\/strong> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/17424174\/teddy-bridgewater-suffers-serious-knee-injury-minnesota-vikings-practice\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Vikings lost<\/a> <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BridTe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Teddy Bridgewater<\/a><\/strong> to serious injuries.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/story\/0ap3000000689972\/article\/injuries-texans-nick-martin-ankle-set-to-miss-16\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Houston even lost<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MartNi00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Nick Martin<\/strong><\/a> last year during the preseason. This year, the injured reserve list shows <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/F\/FullWi01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Will Fuller<\/a><\/strong> injured.<\/p>\n<h2>Houston Texans WR Will Fuller Injured in Practice<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Texans&#39; WR Will Fuller broke his collarbone today during practice, sources tell <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sarahbarshop?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@sarahbarshop<\/a> and me. One is obviously a franchise quarterback, but he may have found one in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=web&amp;cd=1&amp;cad=rja&amp;uact=8&amp;ved=0ahUKEwiUlo-KmrvVAhUhwlQKHUlUB2QQFggoMAA&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sports-reference.com%2Fcfb%2Fplayers%2Fdeshaun-watson-1.html&amp;usg=AFQjCNEsz7CsPzDZLF-snCEQpQc1z7YXcg\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Deshaun Watson<\/strong><\/a>. The other is a reliable number two receiver opposite <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HopkDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeAndre Hopkins<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Last season, in the 2016 NFL Draft, Houston selected wide receiver Will Fuller out of Notre Dame in the first round. Fuller seemed like the perfect candidate for the Texans&#8217; number two option. He has the speed and explosiveness to blow the roof off of opposing defenses. It was the perfect distraction to help DeAndre Hopkins pick apart the secondary with his exceptional route running. Fuller struggled with drops last season, but had been working on it during this off-season. He looked ready to take the next step in his game and truly break out in 2017. But then, he was stopped dead in his tracks before the season even began.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Fuller is going to have to wait a while before he can show the fans how he&#8217;s progressed. During Wednesday&#8217;s practice, Fuller went down after a big hit which broke his collarbone.
