Week 14 of the NFL saw some contenders make statements, while others didn\u2019t meet expectations, and because of it, they move down these rankings. Here are the top 8 Super Bowl contenders heading into week 15.<\/p>\n

Week 15 Super Bowl Rankings<\/h2>\n

1. Denver Broncos<\/h3>\n

Being able to battle back with a no-quit attitude and win games like the Broncos<\/a> have this season is exactly why this team is scary. They may be down, but they are never out. Bo Nix is incredibly dynamic, and although they have struggled at times defensively, overall, they still are one of the top units in football. They lead the league in sacks, and that seems to be a factor for them every week.<\/p>\n

2. Los Angeles Rams<\/h3>\n

Their loss in Week 13 was a tough one. They went on the road, and the defense allowed over 30 points to an inconsistent Panthers<\/a> team. We may be able to chalk that up to them being a West Coast team heading East for an early start, but overall, it was a poor performance. They bounced back in a huge way in Week 14, though, blowing out the Arizona Cardinals<\/a> in Arizona. They have a Super Bowl-winning QB in Matthew Stafford, who is playing at an MVP level, and a Super Bowl-winning coach in Sean McVay. That makes them the ultimate contender this season.<\/p>\n

3. Philadelphia Eagles<\/h3>\n

The Eagles<\/a> have a championship-caliber defense, and come playoff time, this is not a team that anyone wants to play. With that being said, the offense has struggled to maintain any consistency or find its identity, and over the past two weeks, it has dropped from the one seed in the NFC down to the third seed. They will need to get the run game going if they want to make another deep playoff run.<\/p>\n

4. New England Patriots<\/h3>\n

Drake Maye and the Patriots<\/a> are playing some of the best football of any team in the NFL right now. The defense has improved; they finally got a run game going, and they currently sit in first place in the AFC East, which no one saw coming when the season began. Head coach Mike Vrabel has this team believing, and they have a very easy schedule that they can take advantage of on their way to a playoff berth<\/p>\n

5. Green Bay Packers<\/h3>\n

Over the past two weeks, the Packers<\/a> proved they are the top team in the NFC North right now, beating both the Lions<\/a> and Bears<\/a> in huge games. They have an elite defensive unit, and QB Jordan Love looked comfortable running the offense for the first time in many weeks. This team doesn\u2019t have many weaknesses, if any, and come playoff time, they will be a tough out.<\/p>\n

6. Buffalo Bills<\/h3>\n

The Bills<\/a> have been playing inconsistent football over the past 6 or 7 Weeks, but their dominant win over the Steelers<\/a> in Week 13 could be a turning point for them. They had a huge win in Week 14 over the Bengals<\/a>, thanks to a big performance from Josh Allen. The offense ran the ball incredibly well, and the defense finally stopped the run. Although they probably won\u2019t catch the Patriots in the division, they are still a threat come playoff time thanks to Josh Allen.<\/p>\n

7. Seattle Seahawks<\/h3>\n

Seattle<\/a> has a play-making defense that can keep them in football games, and the connection between QB Sam Darnold and WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba has proven to be one of the best in the league. They have one of the best records in the NFC and could be winning any other division in the NFC right now. They dominated the Vikings<\/a> in Week 13 and the Falcons<\/a> in Week 14, and Sam Darnold got some sweet revenge in the process.<\/p>\n

8. Chicago Bears<\/h3>\n

After beating the Eagles two weeks ago and playing the Packers tough in Week 14, the Bears have proven that they are for real. Look for them to be a dangerous team as we head into the final weeks of the season and then the playoffs. The offense is running very smoothly under Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams, and the defense leads the league in turnovers. Being able to protect the football and not turn it over gives the Bears a chance to win any game against any opponent.<\/p>\n

Honorable mentions: San Francisco 49ers<\/a>, Houston Texans<\/a>, and Los Angeles Chargers<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Falling Off: The Daniel Jones injury<\/a> drops the Colts off the list and clouds their immediate future.<\/em><\/p>\n
