Signed to a one-year deal in the offseason, the former fourth-round pick spent most of the season battling a hamstring injury. To date, he has appeared in just one game in 2025, recording three tackles and no other statistics. Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports that the linebacker is finally healthy and, rather than join a one-win Titans team on a collision course with the first-overall pick, the linebacker will attempt to join a contender.

Edit: Contrary to the Jordan Schultz report, Kyzir White will remain with the Tennessee Titans

4 Teams That Could Sign Kyzir White After Titans Release

Kyzir White is no superstar, but assuming health, he can be a solid starter or a high-impact role player for the right organization. Los Angeles Chargers

While the offensive line injuries are the bigger headline, the banged-up Los Angeles Chargers could use some more help at linebacker. The defense itself is holding up reasonably well against the run, ranking 17th in EPA/rush allowed, but the linebackers are not holding up their end of the bargain. Veteran Troy Dye is an unremarkable talent, while third-year pro Daiyan Henley is in the midst of the worst season of his career. His size issues are showing up as he ranks 68th out of 84 eligible linebackers in PFF grade.

Kyzir White may not get the Chargers the AFC West crown, but he can help this team stay competitive in December and January. While he hasn’t done much this year, he had over 130 tackles with the Arizona Cardinals in 2024 and can add a much-needed steadying presence to the heart of this defense. With the offensive line banged up and quarterback Justin Herbert battling a hand injury, the defense will need to carry more weight if this team wants to go on a deep playoff run.

August 23, 2025; Santa Clara, California, USA; Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh instructs against the San Francisco 49ers during the fourth quarter at Levi’s Stadium. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are in the midst of their best season in recent memory. Unfortunately, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans are also battling hard, and the 8-4 Colts would not win the division if the season ended today. Given their ridiculously hard closing schedule and the crowded battle for the Wild Card spot, the Colts could end up with a low seed or out of the playoffs entirely if they don’t improve the defense.

Indianapolis has a strong roster, but the biggest weakness is probably at the linebacker position. Germaine Pratt is a solid option, but Zaire Franklin has been an active liability. Someone must step up at the center of this defense, and the Colts might as well see if Kyzir White has anything left in his tank.

Nov 23, 2025; Kansas City, Missouri, USA; Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen looks on in overtime against the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are the most frustrating team in the league, as it’s impossible to know if they’re actually good or not. After all, this team apparently has the talent to take down the Los Angeles Rams, but cannot beat the New Orleans Saints. The defense can hold the Green Bay Packers to 13 points, but they also give up 27 points to the Atlanta Falcons. All that matters at the end of the day is that this team is 7-6 and only a half-game behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South race.

This team is chasing the playoffs for the first time since the Cam Newton days, and Kyzir White could be the final piece to help them close the gap in the standings. Head coach Dave Canales deserves all the credit in the world for turning this team around, but this still isn’t the most talented unit in football by any stretch of the imagination. The Panthers have a young roster, and a veteran like White could provide plenty of on-field and off-field help for this up-and-coming roster.

Nov 16, 2025; Atlanta, Georgia, USA; Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales greets members of the team after the game against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Dallas Cowboys

Don’t look now, but the Dallas Cowboys are within striking distance of the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. While the reigning Super Bowl champions are still the odds-on favorite to win the division, Dallas is only 1.5 games back and is playing some of their best football, while the Eagles are beginning to unravel. Dak Prescott is playing some of his best football, and the defense has gone from atrocious to slightly below-average since acquiring defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. The Cowboys are very much alive in the playoff race, and Kyzir White could help them over the final month of the season.

The Cowboys spent the offseason cycling through linebackers and have yet to find an average starter. The Kenneth Murray experiment is an outright disaster, so the team might as well look at another former Titans linebacker. White may not make anyone forget about the great Cowboys linebackers of the late 2010s, but he can help stabilize the position.

Nov 27, 2025; Arlington, Texas, USA; Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (4) throws a pass against Kansas City Chiefs safety Chamarri Conner (27) during the first quarter at AT&T Stadium.
