With many owners checking out because they&#8217;re going to miss the playoffs, this could be your chance to add some defensive players who will help you win this season. That means you&#8217;ll have less competition to compete with, and you could even find a dropped player that you could use on defense. That being said, let&#8217;s get to this week&#8217;s pick-ups of the week, so that you can slay your competition. Normally, Singleton would be above 50 percent, but he missed a game before the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/broncos\/\" target=\"_self\">Broncos<\/a>&#8216; bye week. I would pick him up immediately since he will be facing a lot of teams that will run plays in his direction. In the past two games, Thomas has matched his previous three games, which is a sign that he&#8217;s heating up. The only problem is his snap count, which is normally above 60 percent, but that was because the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/seahawks\/\" target=\"_self\">Seahawks<\/a> locked up the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/vikings\/\" target=\"_self\">Vikings<\/a> completely. Regardless, Knight has had a great season and looks like he&#8217;ll be a staple in the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/bengals\/\" target=\"_self\">Bengals<\/a> defense for years. However, this week the Bengals are headed to Buffalo to face the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/bills\/\" target=\"_self\">Bills<\/a>. That gives him plenty of opportunities for tackles for this game and going forward. In the past seven games, Tuipulotu has had a sack in five of them, with two in his last game against the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/raiders\/\" target=\"_self\">Raiders<\/a>. Tuipulotu is around 13 percent owned and has become a staple for the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/chargers\/\" target=\"_self\">Chargers<\/a> defense. In his worst game during this stretch, Gilman had one tackle two weeks ago, but he salvaged the day with a fumble recovery. If you watch the games, you&#8217;ll see that Gilman is always around the ball, which leads to moments like this, along with games in which he can make tackles.
