Yes, we do love when the air starts to cool, and leaves change color. I, for one, especially love Thanksgiving, where it’s socially acceptable to watch football all day while eating dinner about once an hour for eight hours beginning at around 1 pm. The fantasy football season is coming down to the wire, and many of us need to make the right decision every week when we set our lineups if we want to make it to the playoffs. The wide receiver position has been especially tough lately, as many previously unheralded players have been popping up in our top 10 wide receiver rankings each week.

Last week, the overall top 10 at wide receiver included names like Wandale Robinson, Michael Wilson, and Parker Washington. These three players are all every-week starters now for most fantasy formats, even if they aren’t in this week’s wide receiver rankings.

Some other names you should keep an eye on as the season winds down are John Metchie of the Jets, Darnell Mooney of the Falcons, Chimere Dike of the Titans, and Jayden Higgins of the Texans. All four players should be on rosters as a combination of injuries and personnel changes have opened up opportunities for all of them in their respective offenses. Let’s take a look at who the top 10 options are at wide receiver for this week.

Week 13 Wide Receiver Rankings

1) Jaxon Smith-Njigba vs. Vikings

He’s just the best receiver in the league. In two games against Baltimore last season, Burrow peppered Chase to the tune of 21 catches for 257 yards and 5 touchdowns. That’s not a bad season for some receivers. It was like they were playing Madden on easy mode. I’m not saying that’s going to happen again on Thanksgiving, but I’m not not saying that it could. Get it? Good. While we don’t exactly love the “every other week” trend that he’s been following for the last six games, we do appreciate the effort in Week 12. Let’s hope he can break the trend this week against the Packers on Thanksgiving. St. Brown is good enough to score us 15 points in PPR leagues without the score, so he’s staying in our lineups.

For more help with your Week 13 lineup, check out our top streaming options to help plug any leaks.

4) Puka Nacua vs. Panthers

It seems that the Rams have found a formula for their passing game. Puka between the 20s, and then Davante Adams gets a 2-yard touchdown catch. Nacua hasn’t scored in the last two games after scoring four times over his previous five contests. Carolina is actually pretty solid against wide receivers in fantasy, ranking 7th in the league versus the position. They have allowed some pretty big games against the better #1 WRs in the league this year to players like Drake London, Chris Olave, and George Pickens (with Lamb out). They don’t have anybody who can cover Puka, or even Adams, for that matter. Davante is also a great start, but ranks just outside of the top 10 for this week.

5) Rashee Rice vs. Cowboys

Photo Credit: Stephen R. The Cowboys rank 30th against the pass but are dead last against the WR position in fantasy. I love this game to go over the expected point total, and I think that Rice is in line to have a huge game. Two weeks ago, Brown let it be known that he wasn’t happy with how the offense was running… or that he wasn’t being thrown to, to be precise. In the following game, Hurts looked for Brown early and often, but the results were fairly pedestrian. We loved seeing the 11 targets and 7 catches, but the 49 yards and lack of a score left many of us wanting. Last week the target share was just as healthy, and this time Brown was able to convert his opportunities into 8 grabs for 110 yards and a score. That’s more like it. Will it continue this week? That’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? I feel like Philly is going to come out firing after last week’s embarrassing loss, and Chicago‘s defense isn’t equipped to stop them. The Eagles will score plenty of points, and while I fully expect Barkley and Hurts to find the end zone, there’s plenty of room for Brown and even Smith to score, too.

7) Nico Collins vs. Colts

The Indianapolis pass defense is vastly improved from where it was a few weeks ago. The fact that they are still ranked 28th in the league against the pass and 24th in DVOA against the wide receiver position in fantasy points allowed is somewhat misleading. With that being said, Rashee Rice just ripped off 140+ yards against them last week, so Nico Collins will get his chances this week. He’s just too good to completely shut down, and he may be getting C.J. Stroud back as well. While the opportunities are similar, the production disparity has been fairly significant. Pickens has converted his 38 targets into 31 grabs for 447 yards and 2 scores, while Lamb has had some drop issues and has only converted his 39 targets into 23 catches for 300 yards. They are both studs, and both make great plays this week in what I expect to be one of the highest scoring games of the entire weekend.

9) CeeDee Lamb vs. Chiefs

As I was saying, play both of these guys. Lamb may have had some recent drop issues, but he’s still elite. Compiling 300 yards over 4 games is still 75 yards per game, and there’s room for more on Thanksgiving against a Chiefs team that should keep the pressure on Dallas to keep the ball in the air all game long.

10) Zay Flowers vs Bengals

Flowers has been somewhat quiet this season. He hasn’t had a 100-yard game since the first game of the year, and that was also the last time he scored a touchdown. He really doesn’t belong on this list ahead of somebody like Davante Adams or even Ladd McConkey. The reason I have him here is for two reasons. 1) The matchup against the Bengals and their 32nd-ranked pass defense is just too good to ignore. 2) Lamar isn’t really a running quarterback anymore. With the injuries he’s had pile up on him, we just don’t expect Jackson to take off and run the way we have grown accustomed to him doing in years past. If Flowers can get close to 10 targets in this game, he should be able to do some damage and break that century mark. Consider him a “sleeper” top 10 play.

For more great fantasy football analysis, check out DrRoto.com!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!!
