With the suspension over for the top free agent, former New York Giant wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. could be making a comeback to the league. According to the news<\/a>, the wideout is now free to sign with a team immediately since his six-game suspension this 2025 season has been lifted. This means that it wouldn’t be a surprise if a team signs the receiver as early as January in time for the playoffs. Originally selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the former Super Bowl champion could benefit a team’s offense on a low-stakes contract. Beckham isn’t the same speedster he was once in New York to begin his illustrious career, but he does have the experience to be an elusive route-runner to strengthen an offense and move the chains.<\/p>\n

4 Teams That Could Target Odell Beckham Jr. After Suspension<\/h2>\n

Beckham continued to show that he’s still reliable coming off a brutal season-ending injury in the Super Bowl when he was a Los Angeles Ram. After posting 35 receptions for 565 receiving yards and three touchdowns, Beckham has the flow state to get an offense up to speed. He isn’t going to be the most remarkable man out there, but he hasn’t been on the field since 2024. While it may scare off some teams, these four rosters could take a shot on him.<\/p>\n

1. Dallas Cowboys<\/h3>\n

After their first win coming off back-to-back losses, the Dallas Cowboys find themselves back in the playoff hunt. While it looks to be a long shot to bid for their wild-card ticket, the Cowboys don’t look to back down from a fight. Unfortunately for them, the schedule will become difficult with the team still needing to get through the Chiefs, Chargers and Eagles. This means the hotrod offense needs to load up, and they may call up Beckham Jr. to fill in as a third man receiver.<\/p>\n

He won’t be taking away any snaps from George Pickens<\/a> or CeeDee Lamb, but he may build on what the two have already set in stone.<\/p>\n

2. Pittsburgh Steelers<\/h3>\n

With the Baltimore Ravens catching up to them in their AFC divisional race, the Pittsburgh Steelers must figure out a way to strengthen their offense. After trading for DK Metcalf this past offseason, the team hasn’t been able to find a superstar WR2 to help him. Veteran Aaron Rodgers is hopeful to still play,<\/a> but he will need to throw the football sooner rather than later due to his hand situation.<\/p>\n

This is where Beckham can come in and help. While they have Calvin Austin and Roman Wilson for the route-running situations, the Steelers still need experience in that unit with an offense that is already old. Beckham won’t be on the field 24\/7, but he would be a reliable resource on third-down possessions.<\/p>\n

3. Los Angeles Rams<\/h3>\n

A return to the Rams shouldn’t be out of the question. This is probably Beckham’s last NFL stint, so teaming with Puka Nacua<\/a> and Davante Adams might be the scenery that he needs. Veteran Matthew Stafford is on fire, and the Rams are likely to be Super Bowl contenders again atop of the NFC. This would give Beckham a chance to play a full game of the Super Bowl if he can stay healthy.<\/p>\n
