We’ve lost some pretty big names like Malik Nabers, Mike Evans, and Tyreek Hill due to normal “football injuries” during games. We’ve also lost players like Travis Hunter to an injury that occurred in practice. When you start losing players like Marvin Harrison Jr. to an emergency appendectomy, then you know that there must be some weird cosmic powers at work. At this point in the season, there isn’t very much left on waiver wires, but you can take a shot at Michael Wilson in Arizona if you’re desperate. He won’t be in this week’s top 10 wide receiver rankings, but let’s take a look at which players are set to lead our teams to fantasy glory.

Week 11 Wide Receiver Rankings

1) Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins vs. Pittsburgh

Chase was drafted at or near the top in every fantasy draft this season, and when Joe Burrow went down in Week 2, many of his owners were worried. Then Jake Browning played three games in relief, and his owners went from worried to sheer panic with many “pundits” advising owners to bench their top pick for players like Quenten Johnston. To be truthful, Chase only had two bad games with Browning under center, but those two games were enough to make some folks say some kooky things when it came to this dude. The Bengals made a trade to add a veteran QB, and it was against these same Steelers that Joe Flacco had his coming-out party and earned the nickname Joe Cool 2.0.

His secret? Throw the ball, all the time, to Ja’Marr Chase. It’s worked great. It’s worked so well that when he got “only” 8 targets in the Bengals’ last game before the bye, his owners were wondering what happened. What happened was that Flacco remembered he actually has two stud receivers, and Tee Higgins had a monster game. I never like putting two players from the same team in my top 10, but this is an exception. Higgins isn’t exactly a “co-#1,” but he very well can finish this week as the overall WR1 against this Steeler secondary that is ranked last in the league against the pass.

2) Jaxon Smith-Njigba (and Cooper Kupp) vs. Rams

JSN is the best there is right now and will be a weekly fixture near the top of these wide receiver rankings. The Rams defense isn’t quite as stout against the pass as they are against the run, so I expect Klint Kubiak to plan accordingly with this week’s offensive game plan. I’m not breaking any news by telling you to play Smith-Njigba this week or in any week for that matter. He is an every-week starter, period. While we’re here, though, I’d like to let you know about this guy, Cooper Kupp. He’s an older fella, but he used to be really good. When he was really good, it all happened here in Los Angeles for this Rams team that the Seahawks are playing this weekend. If he’s sitting on your waiver wire, grab him and give him a whirl. If he’s been sitting on your bench, this is the week to use him if it’s ever going to happen. He showed some signs of life last week when he converted his 2 targets into 2 catches for 74 yards, and I can definitely see him scoring in this game. He’s not a top ten option, but I would move him up into the top 40 or so, ahead of somebody like Quenten Johnston.

3) Puka Nacua and Davante Adams vs. Seahawks

I guess I’m going to continue this trend of talking about two wide receivers from the same team in one write-up. Nacua is the #1 in LA, but Davante Adams is scoring touchdowns every week. The targets have been split fairly evenly over the last four games that they’ve played together, so they really have become a two-headed monster for the Rams and Matthew Stafford. The Seahawks rank 17th in the league against the pass, but have a DVOA ranking of 9th in the league against the WR position. It will be interesting to see which receiver gets Riq Woolen and which gets Devon Witherspoon. Woolen has typically been the one that opponents have picked on this year, and if he is tasked with covering Adams, it could be the veteran that has the bigger day of the two Ram receivers. Either way, play either/both of these guys if you have them.

4) CeeDee Lamb vs. Las Vegas

For more help with your fantasy football lineups, check out our Week 11 Start/Sit!

Lamb returns after the Cowboys‘ bye week and will face a Raiders defense that is ranked smack in the middle of the league against the pass (#16). He looked fully healthy when we last saw him, so concerns over an early-season ankle injury are long gone in our rearview mirrors. Fire him up for this Monday Night matchup, as I expect the Cowboys to come into Sin City looking to run the score up if they can. I know it’s getting a little tiresome, but here’s another 2-for-1 tidbit. George Pickens is also a fantastic start this week. He’s not quite in the top 10, but he’s close.

5) Justin Jefferson vs. Chicago

Jefferson and his teammate, Jordan Addison, were targeted frequently in Week 10 by J.J. Neither Vikings receiver had a very good day, however, as both were unable to connect on the majority of their looks from the young QB. Jefferson converted 12 targets into just 4 catches for 37 yards without a score, while Addison converted only 3 of his 11 looks for 35 yards. This week, they get a more favorable matchup against a Bears secondary that is ranked 26th in the league against the pass and 29th overall against the WR position.

While it was Jalen Nailor who led Minnesota wideouts in catches, yards, and touchdowns last week, it should be Jefferson this week. Keep an eye on Addison as well, as it was Tee Higgins that had a monster game against Chicago when the Bengals took on the Bears back in Week 9. Since this is a top 10 list and not a top 25, we are going with JJ at number 5, with Addison on the outside looking in.

6) Amon-Ra St. Brown vs. Philadelphia

I was all in on ASB last week, predicting he would have a dominant day and score a touchdown against the Commanders. While some might take a victory lap due to his touchdown, I’m going to apologize and say that I expected more. Sure, we’ll take 16+ points every week, but I was looking for the kind of game that his teammate, Jahmyr Gibbs, gave us. Continuing the theme of “teammates week”, we have to acknowledge that it has been Jameson Williams who has stepped up lately, and it very well could be him who leads the Lions in receptions and yards again this week.

Despite the fact that Jamo has found the end zone in two straight games and has drawn 13 targets over that span, we are sticking with the alpha dog in Detroit. St. Brown has commanded 21 targets over those same two games and remains the top target for Jared Goff in John Morton’s pass offense. This will be a high-scoring game, so get both ASB and Jamo in your lineups, with the Sun God ranking as our overall #6 for this week.

7) A.J. He is having his worst statistical year of his career, and despite missing one game with a hamstring injury, it isn’t health-related. Last week, he was basically ignored by Jalen Hurts in a game that the Eagles could only manage to score 10 points. To his credit, he’s handled it fairly well, while acknowledging that he isn’t happy being a role player. The Eagles are winning games, so they most likely aren’t going to make wholesale changes to how they’re running their offense, but they have shown that they will adapt their game plan each week to attack their opponent’s weakness. The Lions rank 25th in the league against the wide receiver position, and it just makes sense that they will need both Brown and Smith this week to take down Detroit this weekend. I’m leaning on Brown to be Batman and lead the Eagles’ pass attack with Smith back to playing the role of Robin.

8) Drake London vs. Carolina

Photo Credit: Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

London has now given his owners four elite games in his last five starts. Last week’s 6 catch for 104 yards and a touchdown performance in Indianapolis looks like a nice baseline to expect from him from here on out. While that seems a bit optimistic, London is just that good. He has overall WR1 upside every week as Michael Penix’s top target, and this week he should keep it rolling against the Panthers. I expect a heavy dose of Bijan Robinson this weekend, but London will remain the top pass target and will be featured near the goal line, as usual. If you have London, fire him up as the only pass-catching option in Atlanta that I will mention in this write-up. If you’re wondering, Darnell Mooney has been held to one catch in 4 of his last 5 games and belongs right where he is, on your league’s waiver wire. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

9) Nico Collins vs. Tennessee

The loss of C.J. Stroud had little effect on Collins last week as he was able to hook up with Davis Mills for 7 grabs and 136 yards, thanks mostly to being targeted on 15 of his 45 pass attempts. The pass volume was due to Jacksonville taking an early lead and the Texans having to play catch-up for most of the game. I don’t expect Mills to throw it quite as much in his second game under center while Stroud is still recovering from a concussion, but a target rate north of 30% for Collins is very likely. So, if Houston even throws the ball 30 times, that still leaves plenty of room for Nico to have a top 10 finish against a Titan defense that can be beaten through the air as well as on the ground.

10) Rashee Rice vs. Denver

Photo Credit: Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

He has been a top 10 option since returning from a six-game suspension and should remain so this week despite a tough matchup. He won’t have to deal with Patrick Surtain, who is still out with a strained pectoral muscle, so the sledding should be much easier than it normally would against this Denver defense. I expect Patrick Mahomes to bounce back from his dismal performance in Buffalo before the bye week and for the Chiefs offense to lay it on a Broncos defense that hasn’t had a true test yet this year, aside from their Week 7 matchup against the Cowboys. Unlike the Cowboys, Kansas City’s defense isn’t going to allow this game to get away from them. Rice will lead the Chiefs receivers in targets for the game, and I expect another 15+ point performance

For more fantasy football analysis, check out DrRoto.com!

Wide receiver has been a bit of a snake-bitten position this season in the NFL.
