Week 11 of the NFL season gives us 15 games, with only the Saints<\/a> and Colts<\/a> having off for their bye. It’s the closest thing we’ve had to a full schedule since Week 7, when the Bills<\/a> and Ravens<\/a> were the only teams with a week off. For the quarterback position, it was one of the lowest-impact bye weeks of the season when we were drafting our teams, since we didn’t even know who would even be starting for the Saints and Colts. As it turns out, some fantasy managers may actually miss Daniel Jones, who has appeared in our top 10 quarterback rankings a few times this season, and if you’ve been playing Tyler Shough, then this list isn’t going to be much help for you.<\/p>\n

Let’s take a look at who our top options are for this week, as we will have to get by without the aforementioned players on bye and injured players like Jaydin Daniels, as well as Jaxson Dart, who is expected to miss the game against Green Bay this week, with Jameis Winston slated to take the start.<\/p>\n

Week 11 Quarterback Rankings<\/h2>\n

1) Josh Allen vs. Tampa Bay<\/h3>\n

Last week was a stinker for Allen and the Bills, but guess what? It was just fine for our fantasy football teams as Allen was able to pile up 23+ fantasy points during his futile attempts to score on the mighty Dolphins<\/a> defense. There’s a reason why we drafted him before anybody else in our leagues took a QB. He’s the epitome of consistency. He has now scored 20+ points in seven of his nine games after back-to-back strong performances, and he should be able to make it three in a row this weekend at home against the Buccaneers<\/a> in what should be a competitive game. Tampa Bay is tough against the run but beatable through the air, so Allen will most likely need to keep throwing the ball for the Bills to pile up points. He remains the best option at QB in the game on a week-to-week basis.<\/p>\n

2) Lamar Jackson vs. Cleveland<\/h3>\n

He has looked great since coming back, and it was nice to see him using his legs a bit more last week. The last time he faced this Cleveland<\/a> defense, he lit them up for 4 touchdown passes and over 26 fantasy points. While I doubt that he repeats the passing touchdown numbers, he should be able to match the yardage and improve upon the 13 rushing yards he had back in week 2. Overall, we’ve seen Lamar running less this year, even before he sustained a hamstring injury, but the ability is still there when he needs it. With Myles Garrett breathing down his neck, he’s going to need it.<\/p>\n

3) Jalen Hurts vs. Detroit<\/h3>\n

Hurts had a down week against the Packers<\/a> in a game that didn’t offer much of anything for fantasy managers. Chalk it up to a down week and expect a bounce back against the Lions. He had a similar outing in Week 2 against the Chiefs<\/a> and their 6th-ranked defense, so we won’t be too alarmed with his numbers in Green Bay against the #5 defense. The next week, he posted 29 fantasy points against the Rams<\/a>, and I’m expecting similar results this week against the Lions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

4) Justin Herbert vs. Jacksonville<\/h3>\n

Herbert also had a bit of a down week against the Steelers<\/a> and their #32-ranked pass defense. It was more of a result of the success the Chargers<\/a> were having on the ground than having to do with anything Herbert did wrong. The Jags are soft against the pass, ranking 28th in the league in that category and 30th in the league DVOA (that’s a defense’s adjusted value over average) against quarterbacks. The Chargers should need to throw the ball a decent amount to keep the ball moving against the Jaguars<\/a>. I expect Herbert to have a great day.<\/p>\n

5) Patrick Mahomes vs. Denver<\/h3>\n

Mahomes is yet another QB who disappointed his fantasy managers the last time we saw him on the field. Prior to the Chiefs’ Week 10 bye, Mahomes had one of the worst games in recent memory (by his standards) against the Bills, completing less than 50% of his passes with zero scores. He was also a non-factor in the running as his 1 rush attempt was a season low. Denver<\/a> has one of the toughest defenses in the league, and they feature the league’s best pass rush, but that really shouldn’t matter much to Mahomes. The fact that Patrick Surtain is still out with a pectoral strain makes this pass defense a bit less daunting, and with the Chiefs carrying their full complement of weapons, I think this is a game that Kansas City wins handily.<\/p>\n

6) Drake Maye vs. New York Jets<\/h3>\n

Maye currently sits as the top-scoring QB in total points scored in fantasy football through 10 weeks. That number is slightly skewed as he has yet to have his bye, but even if you go by points per game, he ranks at an impressive fourth overall. He hasn’t had many huge games, with just three of his 10 games resulting in over 25 fantasy points, but he’s avoided the landmine weeks with just 1 game under 15 points scored. He’s been as steady as they come, and this week he gets the Jets<\/a> on a short week. These games have been a bit lower scoring overall, but he should still put up enough points to be a top 10 option for the week.<\/p>\n

7) Joe Flacco vs. Pittsburgh<\/h3>\n

When these teams last met, it sparked the beginning of the Joe Flacco resurgence as well as the Ja’Marr Chase dominance that we were all expecting when we drafted him at the top of most fantasy drafts. Flacco threw for 342 yards and 3 scores on that Thursday night, and not much has changed since. My feeling is that both teams feel like they had the right game plan for that game and will simply try and outscore each other this weekend. Aaron Rodgers also makes an intriguing, deeper option, but he will fall a bit short of our top 10 list for the week. If you have Flacco, fire him up.<\/p>\n

8) Baker Mayfield vs. Buffalo<\/h3>\n

Mayfield has been the one constant on a Tampa offense that has seen the majority of its members filter in and out of the lineup due to various injuries. If the Bucs need offense, then Baker is going to put up fantasy numbers. The rare exception is a game like he had in Week 8 against New Orleans, where he wasn’t needed to take care of the hapless Saints and ended the day with single-digit fantasy numbers. The Bucs will need Baker to have a big game to stay close with the Bills, and I expect him to use his legs some this week, which he hasn’t done at all in the Bucs last 3 games.<\/p>\n

9) Matthew Stafford vs. Seattle<\/h3>\n

Stafford is tied for fifth overall in fantasy points per game and has had some big weeks thus far in 2025. If you can use him in the right matchup, he’s as good as any option available in the league. This matchup against Seattle<\/a> isn’t optimal, but it isn’t bad either, as the way to beat the Seahawks is through the air. I expect this to be a competitive, back-and-forth game, and Stafford should have a very good fantasy day in the process.<\/p>\n

10) Caleb Williams vs. Minnesota<\/h3>\n

Williams has been a bit of an enigma this season, but based on his last two weeks, we have to consider him in our top 10 quarterback rankings. The key difference has been his involvement in the running game. While most of his rushing attempts have been the result of scrambling and not play calls, the results are undeniable, with a combined 116 rushing yards and a touchdown over the two games. If he is going to keep running, he’s going to remain a top 10 option for the rest of the season. Minnesota is tougher against the pass than the run, so I expect Williams to keep his legs in play again this week.<\/p>\n
