While the Philadelphia Eagles are near the top of the NFC conference with a 7-2 record, it can’t compensate for what the future holds for top wide receiver AJ Brown, and he could depart after the 2025 season with his latest comments. On a Twitch livestream with streamer “JankyRondo,”<\/a> the wide receiver took the chance to air out his frustrations while playing Madden 26 with him. Brown asked if he was “good,” but he didn’t mince words when talking about the situation in his usage with the Eagles offense.<\/p>\n

“I mean, no. Where have you been?’ Brown said before laughing<\/a>. “No! Yeah, yeah, family good, yeah. Everything else, no! It’s been a sh** show. You on some ‘How you been?’ I’m struggling, brother.”<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Brown was only targeted three times while catching two of them for 13 yards. It’s the stats that aren’t making him happy, especially the way quarterback Jalen Hurts is using him. Despite the frustrations, the Eagles are in a good position to win the NFC East and get a first-round bye if they continue to escape with close, nail-biting wins like the one they had on Monday Night in Green Bay, 10-7.<\/p>\n

“It’s a Sh** Show” – AJ Brown Could Depart After 2025 Season – Possible Destinations in 2026<\/h2>\n

Now, with his recent game against the Packers, it marks his fifth game where he recorded less than 45 passing yards. It was all sunshine and rainbows for the Eagles last season, winning the Super Bowl, but it’s a different storyline this year. Either way, it’s a shocking way to go out if Philadelphia does entertain the idea of a trade this upcoming offseason, which Brown should receive interest from teams. In the first two seasons as an Eagle, he had over 1,000 receiving yards, and his production slowly dipped.<\/p>\n

For the sake of this article, here are some possible destinations for Brown, who will likely request a trade, especially if the Eagles end up being “one and done” in the postseason.<\/p>\n

1. Los Angeles Chargers<\/h3>\n

With Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton being out with injuries, it’s proof that quarterback Justin Herbert<\/a> can work his wonders with a strong passing offense. Wide receiver Ladd McConkey<\/a> has been on fire, but that’s all due to Herbert’s arm, who’s been putting him in the right situations. With Quentin Johnston still having inconsistency issues at times, the Chargers should trade for a new offensive weapon this upcoming offseason, no matter what the outcome of this year is.<\/p>\n

Keenan Allen is having a breakout veteran season as well, but he isn’t going to play for long. The long-time Charger could eventually retire at some point, so this means a trade for Brown would make sense to make up for the loss as a superstar blockbuster addition.<\/p>\n

2. New England Patriots<\/h3>\n

The expectation for the New England Patriots was that they were going to be a losing record team, but they’re proving otherwise. With Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins and Kayshon Boutte all contributing behind Drake Maye<\/a>, who is on pace for an MVP, why not trade for another receiver in the offseason? Brown reuniting with head coach Mike Vrabel could be like icing on the cake to finally win the Super Bowl, which they were aiming for in Tennessee.<\/p>\n

3. Pittsburgh Steelers<\/h3>\n

The Steelers were probably one of the teams before the trade deadline that were trying to push for Brown<\/a>. While they did trade for DK Metcalf this past offseason, they have yet to find a reliable WR2 to help him. Calvin Austin and Roman Wilson have been decent, but nothing on the level of a deep threat. If Aaron Rodgers returns for another year, the Steelers could make a strong trade for Brown this upcoming offseason.<\/p>\n
