It\u2019s why you\u2019re here. That glorious, maddening, weekly riddle that consumes us right until kickoff: WHO DO I START? The impact? Maybe the difference is between mess-talking victory and soul-sucking defeat. And we all want that \u201cedge,\u201d don\u2019t we? That little nugget that pats us on our tushies and tells us everything will be ok. A gentle nudge, if you will. I want you to know that I&#8217;m here each in Week 11 to pat your tushies (figuratively) and give you my two cents on who needs to be touching grass and who needs to be riding pine. CIN)<\/strong> &#8211; If it\u2019s going to be any game, it\u2019s this one. Higher floor rather than ceiling, but I\u2019ll take it against the worst defense in decades.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start: Marcus Mariota (WAS @ MIA)<\/strong> &#8211; Legs provide sturdy floor, and it\u2019s the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/dolphins\/\" target=\"_self\">Dolphins<\/a>. Remember &#8211; this isn\u2019t real football, and if Justin Fields can be start-worthy, so can Marcus here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sit: Patrick Mahomes (KC @ DEN)<\/strong> &#8211; I know he\u2019s Thanos, but not against <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/broncos\/\" target=\"_self\">Denver<\/a> in Mile High. Mahomes is generally phenomenal off a bye week, but I don\u2019t love it this week &#8211; the Broncos have really only been gouged by the position three times this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sit: Baker Mayfield (TB @ BUF)<\/strong> &#8211; Trap game. Screams shootout, but look at Mahomes\u2019 and Tua\u2019s lines against them as the ceiling. I love me some Baker (especially his commercials), but the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/bills\/\" target=\"_self\">Bills<\/a> are the second-ranked defense against the position. CIN)<\/strong> &#8211; My \u201cright guy, right spot\u201d play this week. Kyle Monangai torched them two weeks ago, Breece Hall last week. It\u2019s Jaylen\u2019s turn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start: De\u2019Von Achane (WAS @ MIA)<\/strong> &#8211; Keeping with my \u201clook what just happened\u201d theme this week, um\u2026 Jahmyr Gibbs. Period. Achane is Gibbs 2.0, and this is going to be a big line.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em><strong>Keep your fantasy football team pointed in the right direction with <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/11\/11\/nfl-one-takeaway-every-team-played-sunday-week-10\/\" target=\"_self\">one key takeaway from each team<\/a> that played in Week 10&#8217;s Sunday action.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Sit: Rachaad White (TB @ BUF)<\/strong> &#8211; Trap game for White as well, as I don\u2019t think his style matches up well against the Bills. He hasn\u2019t exactly set the world on fire in Bucky\u2019s absence, and in my mind, he isn\u2019t even the best remaining back in the room. Speaking of, I\u2019m rolling Tucker instead.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sit: Kimani Vidal (SD @ JAC)<\/strong> &#8211; Love the kid, but it\u2019s not a great matchup. It\u2019s about as far as any team has to fly in the intercontinental, and that seems to matter. I see this one as more of a grind, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/jaguars\/\" target=\"_self\">Jaguars<\/a> have only surrendered three tuddys (in just two games) all year. Lamar is getting comfy again, and Bateman is banged up &#8211; both bode well for Zay. Ceiling game incoming.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start: DeVonta Smith (PHI v. DET)<\/strong> &#8211; I\u2019m calling it &#8211; new WR1 in the room, and this is going to be a shootout if <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/eagles\/\" target=\"_self\">Philly<\/a> hopes to stay in it. I\u2019m looking for a nuke from Smith this week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sit: Cortland Sutton (DEN v. KC)<\/strong> &#8211; I\u2019ve been writing all week that the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/chiefs\/\" target=\"_self\">Kansas City<\/a> defense is the real show, and the backfield deserves a lot of the credit. Plus, Bo has regressed a bit in recent weeks, and I see the Chiefs stealing one in a grind here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sit: Keon Coleman (BUF v. TB)<\/strong> &#8211; He flashed last week, but is too inconsistent to trust in a potential bust week. Did you see what Brock Bowers did to them two weeks ago? Still fresh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start: Travis Kelce (KC @ DEN)<\/strong> &#8211; I don\u2019t love it, but I think the Denver linebackers are more susceptible v. tight ends than it would appear. Not scorched Earth, but I could see Kelce popping a 4\/64\/1 box.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sit: Luke Musgrave (GB @ NYG)<\/strong> &#8211; Stop it. Just don\u2019t. He\u2019s not Tucker Kraft, and it\u2019s that simple. And guess what? Maybe Jordan Love isn\u2019t all that either. We\u2019ve been blaming the pass catchers, but have we all been wrong?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sit: Dawson Knox (BUF v. TB)<\/strong> &#8211; Kincaid\u2019s hammy is still a problem, so I see Knox getting reps here.
