The Washington Commanders’ season is effectively over, and this disastrous loss to the Seattle Seahawks could lead to an Andrew Wylie trade. After reaching the NFC Championship Game last year, Washington entered 2025 with Super Bowl aspirations. Unfortunately, a series of injuries and subpar play has them sitting at 3-6 after nine games, and star quarterback Jayden Daniels<\/a> could be done for the season.<\/p>\n

Top 5 Andrew Wylie Trade Destinations, Ranked<\/h2>\n

With this in mind,\u00a0Fox Sports’ <\/em>Jordan Schultz<\/a> reports the Commanders could trade offensive lineman Andrew Wylie. Wylie is not the best player in the league by any stretch of the imagination, but he can play both guard positions and has experience at right tackle. Seeing as there aren’t enough good offensive linemen to go around, a contender could be willing to give up a late-round pick for his services.<\/p>\n

5. Jacksonville Jaguars<\/h3>\n

It hasn’t always looked pretty, but the Jacksonville Jaguars are 5-3 and currently hold a playoff spot. Trevor Lawrence hasn’t played that great, Brian Thomas can’t get out of his own way<\/a>, and Travis Hunter is on the injured reserve, but this team keeps winning games. While they’re not good enough to trade for a superstar like Trey Hendrickson, they could justify a low-risk acquisition like Andrew Wylie.<\/p>\n

Jacksonville’s offensive line has not played well this year, as former second-round pick Ezra Cleveland<\/a> has been unremarkable and free agent signee Patrick Mekari has been a bust. Wylie could come in and compete to start at either guard position. Even if he can’t win the job, he can provide valuable depth at multiple positions.<\/p>\n

4. New England Patriots<\/h3>\n

The New England Patriots offensive line is one of the most improved positions in football. Left tackle Will Campbell<\/a> and free agent signings Morgan Moses and Garrett Bradbury solidified their respective positions, and Mike Onwenu is reliable at right guard. Four of the five spots need no improvement, but left guard is a separate issue.<\/p>\n

Jared Wilson<\/a> is having a fine season for an untested third-round rookie, and if the Patriots weren’t competing, they’d have no issue seeing him play out the season. However, New England is 7-2 and tied for the best record in football. This team needs every upgrade it can get, and an Andrew Wylie trade could be a great short-term fix for this offense.<\/p>\n

3. Baltimore Ravens<\/h3>\n

The Baltimore Ravens had a disastrous start to the season, but they’ve looked like their old selves over the past two weeks. Lamar Jackson will get this team to the playoffs<\/a>, and they’ll need a better offensive line once they get there. The tackle and center positions are great, but both guard positions are weak.<\/p>\n

Andrew Vorhees and Daniel Faalele are doing the best they can, but they’re simply not starting-caliber players. Andrew Wylie isn’t a high-level starter at this part of his career, but the trade candidate could provide some much-needed competition.<\/p>\n

2. Seattle Seahawks<\/h3>\n

If the 2025 season has proven anything, it’s that Sam Darnold is no one-year wonder<\/a>. After guiding the Minnesota Vikings to the playoffs last year, the former top-three pick is one of the most efficient quarterbacks in football and has Seattle thinking about the Lombardi Trophy. While this offense is more than capable of scoring points as currently constructed, it wouldn’t hurt to invest in the offensive line.<\/p>\n

Rookie offensive linemen tend to struggle, so nobody should be too worried about Grey Zabel’s long-term future. The same cannot be said of Anthony Bradford, as the veteran remains one of the league’s worst starters. Andrew Wylie would easily be an upgrade on Bradford, and it shouldn’t cost too much to trade for him.<\/p>\n

1. Los Angeles Chargers<\/h3>\n

Easily the toip spot on this list, the Los Angeles Chargers continue to take injury after injury along the offensive line. The team lost Rashawn Slater<\/a> before the season even started, and now lost star tackle Joe Alt<\/a> for the season. With guard Mekhi Becton also battling injury, nobody is left to protect franchise quarterback Justin Herbert.<\/p>\n

Andrew Wylie is far from an ideal starter, but the trade target might be the best option for the Chargers at this stage in the season. Versatility can be a gift in the right system, and Los Angeles needs help at multiple spots. The Chargers must remake their offensive line on the fly, and Wylie’s ability to play all over could be incredibly valuable.<\/p>\n
