As Week 9 begins, here is where every team stands in our updated NFL power rankings. The teams are ranked from 32nd to 1st.<\/p>\n

Week 9 NFL Power Rankings<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

32. New York Jets<\/a> (1-7)<\/strong> – Gave up 38 points and still won the game. The winless season is over.<\/p>\n

31. Tennessee Titans<\/a> (1-7)<\/strong> – This team reminds me of the movie The Replacements.<\/p>\n

30. New Orleans Saints<\/a> (1-7)<\/strong> – If the Saints had Jameis Winston under center, this team would have a few more in the win column.<\/p>\n

29. Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> (2-5)<\/strong> – The Raiders come off the bye week for a home matchup against the Jags.<\/p>\n

28. Cleveland Browns<\/a> (2-6)<\/strong> – If this team is serious about the future, it will unload Myles Garrett for a king’s ransom.<\/p>\n

27. Miami Dolphins<\/a> (2-6)<\/strong> – Not sure anyone picked the Fins to win in their survivor pool in Week 8. Kudos on a huge win.<\/p>\n

26. Arizona Cardinals<\/a> ( 2-5)<\/strong> – The Cardinals look healthy coming off the bye week, as they head to Dallas for a Monday night matchup.<\/p>\n

25. Washington Commanders<\/a> (3-5)<\/strong> – This team looked lost against the Chiefs on Monday night, and now they head back home for a tough game against the red-hot Seahawks team.<\/p>\n

24. Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> (3-5)<\/strong> – Man, the Bengals really peed down their leg in Week 8. Up 14 points in the 4th quarter, and the defense blew it. Zac Taylor has to be on the hot seat.<\/p>\n

23. Carolina Panthers<\/a> (4-4)<\/strong> – The Panthers got steamrolled by the Bills in Week 8. Doesn\u2019t get much easier in Week 9 at Green Bay.<\/p>\n

22. Minnesota Vikings<\/a> (3-4)<\/strong> – The Vikings were better off staying in Minnesota for an extra week off in Week 8. They looked god awful against the Chargers.<\/p>\n

21. New York Giants<\/a> (2-6)<\/strong> – The New York Football Giants have a bright future if they can nail some upcoming draft picks in 2026. Unfortunately, this season is a washout with all their young talent injured.<\/p>\n

20. Baltimore Ravens<\/a> (2-5)<\/strong> – The Ravens finally won a game and now travel to South Beach Thursday night. It will be an interesting matchup for the Ravens against a motivated Dolphins team.<\/p>\n

19. Houston Texans<\/a> (3-4)<\/strong> – Finally, this team looked fluent on offense. In Week 9, they get Nico Collins back at home against a Broncos team that\u2019s been rolling.<\/p>\n

18. Atlanta Falcons<\/a> (3-4)<\/strong> – Two weeks in a row, this team has looked terrible. Now they head to New England to face the red-hot Patriots. Don\u2019t be surprised if they pull the upset because that\u2019s the NFL for ya.<\/p>\n

17. Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> (4-3)<\/strong> – The Steelers have dropped two in a row, and now the Colts head to town.<\/p>\n

16. Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> (4-3)<\/strong> – Jacksonville heads to Vegas for a Week 9 clash with the Raiders, both teams coming off a bye week.<\/p>\n

15. San Francisco 49ers<\/a> (5-3)<\/strong> – The 49ers looked flat against the Texans in Week 8. The defense wouldn\u2019t get any stops and the offense couldn\u2019t get going until it was too late. In Week 9, they head to face off against the Giants.<\/p>\n

14. Chicago Bears<\/a> (4-3)<\/strong> – Chicago stumbled against the Ravens in Week 8, and now they head to Cincinnati to face Joe Flacco and company.<\/p>\n

13. Dallas Cowboys<\/a> (3-4-1)<\/strong> – Not much to say about the performance this team displayed against the Broncos in Week 8; now they get a Monday night matchup at home against the Cardinals.<\/p>\n

12. Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> (5-3)<\/strong> – The Chargers rebounded from their Week 7 loss against the Colts and dismantled the Vikings in Week 8. They seem to be clicking on all cylinders.<\/p>\n

11. Los Angeles Rams<\/a> (5-2)<\/strong> – The Rams get another easy matchup in Week 9 at home against the inconsistent Saints.<\/p>\n

10. Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> (6-2)<\/strong> – Most will have this team ranked in their top 5; personally, I\u2019m not there yet. An AJ Brown trade still may be lurking.<\/p>\n

9. Green Bay Packers<\/a> (5\u20131-1)<\/strong> – The Packers once again leaned on their defense and run game for another win. An inconsistent Panthers team makes its way to the frozen tundra on Sunday.<\/p>\n

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a> (6-2)<\/strong> – Tampa keeps rolling despite all the injuries on offense and defensively, they looked strong in Week 8.<\/p>\n

7. Seattle Seahawks<\/a> (5-2)<\/strong> – The Seahawks got healthy in Week 8. Now they head across the country for a Sunday night battle against the Commanders.<\/p>\n

6. Denver Broncos<\/a> (6-2)<\/strong> – Week 9 could be a trap game for this Denver team. Houston has a tough defense and the Broncos will be without Surtain.<\/p>\n

5. New England Patriots<\/a> (6-2)<\/strong> – Drake Maye is playing like Tom Brady right now; he\u2019s making everyone around him better. And now there is talk of 5 more trades the Patriots could make<\/a> to climb even higher.<\/p>\n

4. Detroit Lions<\/a> (5-2)<\/strong> – Detroit heads into Week 9 at home against a struggling Vikings team. A Lions win would put Minnesota down for good this season.<\/p>\n

3. Indianapolis Colts<\/a> (7-1)<\/strong> – ESPN ranked the Colts #1 this week, and I\u2019m not mad about it.<\/p>\n

2. Buffalo Bills<\/a> (5- 2)<\/strong> – I called it last week, the Bills need to put up a 40 burger in Carolina in Week 8, and that\u2019s exactly what they did. Total domination for the Bills, and it was far from a perfect game for Buffalo.<\/p>\n

1. Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> (5-3)<\/strong> – The Week 9 slate is headlined by the Chiefs vs. the Bills in Buffalo. Let the fireworks begin.<\/p>\n
