Entering the season with Super Bowl aspirations, Baltimore’s season fell apart after blowing big leads and losing Lamar Jackson to injury. Now sitting at 1-5, it might be too late for the Ravens to climb back into the playoff picture. While they probably won’t have a true fire sale, they should get what they can for Andrews.

Top 3 Mark Andrews Trade Destinations, Ranked

Now playing in the final year of his contract, Mark Andrews was at the center of trade rumors throughout the offseason. While he’s still a good player, he has lost a step and isn’t the top-five tight end he was earlier in his career. With Isaiah Likely more than capable of handling starting duties, nobody should be surprised if Andrews lands with a new team in the coming days.

Main Photo: Denny Medley – Imagn Images

3. Carolina Panthers

After years upon years of turmoil, the Carolina Panthers have legitimate playoff aspirations in 2025. Currently holding a 4-3 record and sitting just one game back in the NFC South, this team should do whatever it can to return to the postseason for the first time since the Cam Newton Era. While this roster probably doesn’t have what it takes to win a Super Bowl, they should still consider a Mark Andrews trade.

The Panthers have plenty of young pass-catching talent, but not much in terms of proven veterans. Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette, Jalen Coker, and tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders have all shown varying flashes of talent, but all of them are either first- or second-year players. Mark Andrews could provide a much-needed veteran presence to the depth chart and also serve as a reliable set of hands for Bryce Young and Andy Dalton.

Sep 14, 2025; Glendale, Arizona, USA; Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales looks on during the third quarter against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium. While he’s still an elite quarterback, there’s no telling how much longer he’ll remain under center. The one-time Super Bowl champion flirted with retirement in the offseason, so Los Angeles should do everything to win it all while they still have an elite quarterback.

Puka Nacua and Davante Adams form one of the best receiver duos in football, but the tight end room needs some work. Tyler Higbee leads the group with just 13 receptions for 121 yards and one touchdown, and that’s simply not good enough. Mark Andrews would immediately be the best receiving tight end on this roster, and a trade would make the Rams passing offense that much harder to defend.

Main Photo: Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

1. Los Angeles Chargers

After a 3-0 start to the season, the Los Angeles Chargers are in a bit of a freefall. Thanks to an endless barrage of injuries, the team is 1-3 in its last four games, with the lone win coming against the hapless Miami Dolphins. The Chargers play in arguably the game’s most competitive division, and they must do something to stay in the playoff race.

Rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden set the world on fire over the past two weeks, and perhaps he proves to be the real deal. However, a team like the Chargers shouldn’t place all its faith in an untested fifth-round pick. Veterans Tyler Conklin and Will Dissly are both well past their prime, and a Mark Andrews trade would ensure this team has at least one reliable tight end on the offense. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman will know how to use his former weapon, and Andrews could be the missing piece to stabilize this offense.

Oct 19, 2025; Inglewood, California, USA; Los Angeles Chargers tight end Oronde Gadsden (86) celebrates after a touchdown in the fourth quarter against the Indianapolis Colts at SoFi Stadium.
