After missing the 2024 season with a torn ACL, the former first-round pick has returned to the field and played well in 2025. While he hasn’t matched his Pro Bowl play from years gone by, he’s still recorded four sacks in seven games, showing he can still get after the quarterback.<\/p>\n

Top 4 Bradley Chubb Trade Destinations, Ranked<\/h2>\n

At 1-6, Miami’s season is effectively over, and they should be looking to sell every veteran they can as they embrace a rebuild. There is no such thing as too many good pass rushers, and every single contender should at least have a passing interest in a Bradley Chubb trade. However, these four teams make the most sense as potential destinations.<\/p>\n

4. New England Patriots<\/h3>\n

The New England Patriots are one of the league’s biggest surprises. Led by MVP candidate Drake Maye<\/a>, Mike Vrabel’s squad currently owns a 5-2 record and sits alone atop the AFC East. While Maye and the offense are powering the ship, the defense could use some work. While the unit isn’t a liability, the pass rush needs some help. Harold Landry has played well, but Keion White has not held up his end of the bargain. A Bradley Chubb trade would give New England a much-needed boost on the edge and increase their odds of going on a deep playoff run.<\/p>\n

The only question is whether or not the Dolphins would trade Bradley Chubb to one of their biggest divisional rivals. While trades like this aren’t too common, they’re not as rare as they used to be. If New England makes the best offer, Miami will probably send him to a rival.<\/p>\n

3. Carolina Panthers<\/h3>\n

The Carolina Panthers are riding a three-game winning streak and currently sit just one game out of first in the NFC South. While Bryce Young’s injury<\/a> will sideline him for a few weeks, veteran quarterback Andy Dalton is more than capable of keeping this ship afloat. This team should have legitimate postseason aspirations, and a Bradley Chubb trade should increase their odds of playing meaningful January football.<\/p>\n

Carolina has a young defensive line led by second-round rookie Nic Scourton<\/a>. While the rookie has played well, the rest of the players on the depth chart are either still adapting to life in the NFL or are unremarkable journeymen. Bradley Chubb may not be the player he was at the peak of his career, but the trade target should increase the overall talent in the room while providing veteran leadership for the younger players.<\/p>\n

2. Kansas City Chiefs<\/h3>\n

At 4-3, the Kansas City Chiefs currently find themselves behind the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West race. While this team should keep winning games now that Rashee Rice is back<\/a> on the field, the defense needs to start holding up its end of the bargain.<\/p>\n

George Karlaftis is still going strong, but the rest of the edge defenders don’t bring much to the table. This team needs to increase its talent on the defensive line, especially since defensive tackle Chris Jones<\/a> isn’t playing up to his usual standard. A Bradley Chubb trade is the best way to improve this defense, and the veteran should welcome the opportunity to join one of the game’s best rosters.<\/p>\n

1. San Francisco 49ers<\/h3>\n

Despite suffering a ridiculous number of injuries, the San Francisco 49ers simply refuse to lose football games. Star players like Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, and Brock Purdy have all missed extensive time to injury, yet this team is still 5-2 entering Week 8. Head coach Kyle Shanahan is good enough to keep winning regular season games with subpar talent, but he’ll need true game changers to win games in January and February.<\/p>\n

Everyone knows the 49ers are desperately shopping for edge defenders, and Bradley Chubb might be the best one on the trade market. With Trey Hendrickson likely unavailable<\/a> following Cincinnati’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chubb could be this team’s best shot at replacing Nick Bosa. The present-day version of Chubb cannot match Bosa’s production, but he is a starting-caliber player who can play good football all season long.<\/p>\n
