Injuries are inevitable in the game of football, and successfully navigating the season’s lineup changes could be the difference between winning your league and missing the playoffs. In no particular order, these four players are probably available in your league and can help mitigate the loss of Evans.

Fantasy Football: 4 Players That Can Replace Mike Evans After Collarbone Injury

Before we get into the list itself, let’s start with a disclaimer: Mike Evans is a special football player, and nobody on this list will be able to replicate his annual 1,000-yard performances. However, each of these guys should be an adequate flex play and should help keep your team afloat for the remainder of the season. Also note that, to be eligible for this list, the player needed to be available in at least 50% of Sleeper redraft leagues.

Main Photo: David Reginek – Imagn Images

1. Tez Johnson, Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the most injury-plagued teams in football, and undrafted free agent Tez Johnson could rise from the ashes. While he won’t win MVP, he has what it takes to be a fill-in for Mike Evans in your fantasy football lineup. The rookie had another strong performance in Week 7, hauling in four receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown on nine targets.

Johnson looks like he can play in the NFL, and Tampa Bay needs someone to step up at the wide receiver position. Evans and Chris Godwin are both battling serious injuries, while first-round phenom Emeka Egbuka is dealing with a hamstring injury of his own. Johnson and quarterback Baker Mayfield have a good rapport, and Johnson should continue putting up solid numbers for this high-octane passing attack.

Oct 12, 2025; Tampa, Florida, USA; Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Tez Johnson (15) reacts during the third quarter against the San Francisco 49ers at Raymond James Stadium. Kayshon Boutte, Patriots

Kayshon Boutte does not receive a high target share, but the former sixth-round pick’s connection with quarterback Drake Maye is second to none. Week in and week out, Maye and Boutte connect for at least one impressive deep pass, and that should be enough to provide standalone value in a flex spot.

Maye is playing MVP-caliber football, and fantasy football managers should be trying to get a piece of this offense. While Stefon Diggs is the top option in the passing attack, Boutte is Maye’s preferred downfield and red zone weapon. He only needs two of three catches per game to reach double-digit points, and that’s all you can ask out of a waiver pickup.

Sep 14, 2025; Miami Gardens, Florida, USA; New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (9) races after scoring a touchdown against the Miami Dolphins in the first quarter at Hard Rock Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images

3. Xavier Legette, Panthers

The Carolina Panthers want Xavier Legette to be a big part of their offense, and he finally came through in Week 7’s win over the New York Jets. Catching passes from both Bryce Young and Andy Dalton, the former first-round pick finished his night with nine receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. Nobody should expect 24 fantasy points every week, but he could start living up to his draft capital.

Legette began the season averaging 7.5 targets per game before suffering an injury and missing two weeks of action. While he only saw 2.5 targets per game in his first two games back, it appears as though he’s once again a key part of this passing attack. Legette won’t put up Mike Evans numbers, but he has the draft capital and athletic profile to suggest he could be a legitimate weapon in fantasy football. The floor is admittedly low with him, but he has the highest ceiling of any player on this list.

Arizona Cardinals cornerback Denzel Burke (29) makes a defensive stop against Carolina Panthers receiver Xavier Legette (17) at State Farm Stadium on Sept 14, 2025.

4. Alec Pierce, Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are perhaps the biggest surprise in the NFL, and Alec Pierce is a key part of their success. While he doesn’t always light up the score sheet, he provides a key role in this offense as the team’s lone deep threat. While Michael Pittman, Josh Downs, and Tyler Warren all work the short and intermediate parts of the field, Pierce exclusively works downfield and only needs a few receptions per game to justify a flex play.

This type of low-volume role is inherently risky, but it offers great upside in the right offense. Don’t look now, but the Colts have one of the most efficient offenses in NFL history. Alec Pierce has a decent shot of finding the endzone every single week, and you could do a lot worse in your flex spot.

Main Photo: Vincent Carchietta-Imagn Images

Mike Evans will be sidelined indefinitely with a collarbone injury, which means fantasy football managers must find another wide receiver

[59,30,12,5,29
9094,349,9646,984,7661,33241,32429
post-251836","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-panthers","category-colts","category-patriots","category-buccaneers","tag-alec-pierce","tag-fantasy-football-rankings","tag-kayshon-boutte","tag-mike-evans","tag-panthers-featured","tag-tez-johnson","tag-xavier-legette
["GET
