The New Orleans Saints are entering Week 4 of this 2025 regular season at 0-3 and could trade superstar running back Alvin Kamara. According to an NFL source<\/a>, he believes Alvin Kamara should become available for a trade since it looks like the Saints are embracing a full rebuild mode. After years of refusing to rebuild since the Drew Brees era, the Saints are now trying to build a new regime led by quarterback Spencer Rattler<\/a> and head coach Kellen Moore. With that, the team could get some decent draft capital in return for the superstar, but the implication is that he is getting older in age, so they must act quickly before his value dwindles.<\/p>\n

Originally selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the former Tennessee product has always been one of the most special players in the league. Despite the circumstances with the Saints, he always remained loyal to the team and doesn’t plan on leaving unless New Orleans makes the move to trade. However, it’s hard to see the two-time All-Pro end his career without a Super Bowl, so it’s only right for the team to let him go at some point. This would allow the 30-year-old to earn a chance for the Lombardi trophy on a roster that is closest to that stage, and these three suitors could pursue him.<\/p>\n

However, the offense is in the best position they’ve ever been in at 3-0, and the Chargers must play it smart to upgrade it if they want to. They have enough cap space to trade for a star playmaker, and it might be only right for the team to make the call.<\/p>\n

2025 draft pick Omarion Hampton is expected to go through growing pains, and the only thing that’s left to boost the momentum for the offense to new heights is Alvin Kamara. While he isn’t in his prime anymore, Kamara could break out behind one of the best offensive lines in the league.<\/p>\n

Baltimore Ravens<\/h4>\n

Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens could use some extra running back help at 1-2. They’re easily a 3-0 team, but due to Derrick Henry’s costly mistakes, they could be in a better position. However, it’s hard to just put the blame on one player, and the only way to resolve it is by pairing him with a dual-threat running back like Kamara. The Ravens have one of the best passing units between Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and veteran DeAndre Hopkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If Baltimore trades for Kamara, they must finally be a true Super Bowl threat.<\/p>\n

Denver Broncos<\/h4>\n

However, the Denver Broncos aren’t too far away from being a true postseason team. Despite losing to the Chargers, it’s still early in the season, and the team could make some adjustments during the year, and one of them could include Kamara. After letting Javonte Williams walk in free agency and signing JK Dobbins<\/a>, they could do better. Quarterback Bo Nix will never get to the next level if the Broncos can’t upgrade the offense around him, and Kamara could be the first step to being a dangerous threat, especially reuniting with former Saints head coach Sean Payton.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
