It’s already been a disastrous season for the Tennessee Titans, so they might have to trade their top wide receiver, Calvin Ridley, to rebuild for the future. According to several reports<\/a>, Ridley is still struggling with this offense even with quarterback Cam Ward<\/a> under center, so there could be questions about his future coming soon. Originally selected in the 2018 NFL Draft, the former Alabama product hasn’t been living up to the standards of what the Titans are looking for, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Titans consider trading him. The Titans are 0-3 once again, and since it’s more of a “growing pains” season for Ward, the team must start from scratch and give him a fresh new set of offensive weapons.<\/p>\n

Coming off the loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the wide receiver only caught one target out of seven for 27 receiving yards. However, head coach Bill Callahan isn’t giving up on Ridley as he won’t stop “relying on him,” and while that might look like good news, no one should rule out the possibility of the Titans trading Ridley. The wide receiver is still a reliable weapon in the league, recording over 1,000 receiving yards, and has become a crucial contributor to this offense. However, this season has been different for Ridley and might suit him better in a team that is heading towards a postseason rather than embracing a new regime.<\/p>\n

San Francisco 49ers<\/h4>\n

Despite the San Francisco 49ers losing their top pass-rusher, Nick Bosa, this season<\/a>, the team is still in the mix to be a playoff contender as they’re 3-0. Of course, anything can happen if quarterback Brock Purdy<\/a> can’t stay healthy, but the team has enough talent all around to keep things afloat. However, they could use a makeover in their receiver core group, especially after trading away Deebo Samuel this past offseason. Even though they signed Kendrick Bourne to salvage the passing attack, he’s more of a temporary nostalgic fit for this offense.<\/p>\n

Ridley provides insurance for long-term relief, and with Jauan Jennings nursing an injury, he could find his role somewhere with Ricky Pearsall and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He won’t take snaps away from them, but it would fend off the idea of Brandon Aiyuk’s loss, who has yet to return.<\/p>\n

Washington Commanders<\/h4>\n

Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders were in the market for a receiver, taking a look at Bourne until the 49ers signed him. Despite that, the team has been able to find a way to win football games with Jayden Daniels<\/a>, so their receiver group could be solid for now. Luke McCaffrey finally had his shine, and Jaylin Lane is looking to be a true special-teams player. With that, why not get Ridley in on the fun and pair him with Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel as the ultimate triple-threat?<\/p>\n

Kansas City Chiefs<\/h4>\n

However, the Kansas City Chiefs finally found a way to win this season after going 0-2. However, this doesn’t mean the Chiefs aren’t frustrated with the current receiver room<\/a>. Between Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, the team can’t afford to lose any more playmakers to off-field issues or injuries.
