The unit hasn’t ranked higher than 28th since 2020. Their best lineman, Andrew Thomas, is constantly sidelined by injuries, leaving the Giants to field a starting unit full of backup-level players.

The Giants have tried to fix the line through the draft, most notably with Evan Neal in 2022, but that experiment has fallen flat. Free agency offered another chance, with signings like Jon Runyan and Jermaine Eluemunor, yet those moves also failed to bring stability.

The Giants’ offensive line has been a persistent liability over the past several seasons. With young talents like Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers, the Giants must do everything possible to shore up the offensive line. Yet after countless missteps, what options do they even have left?

Meet Kadyn Proctor — This Draft’s Top Offensive Lineman

Playing offensive tackle for Alabama, junior Kadyn Proctor has quickly made a name for himself in the college ranks. Proctor is a physical specimen, standing 6’7” and weighing over 360 pounds. Despite his size, he moves with impressive explosiveness and agility, combining rare athleticism with a prototypical frame. Proctor is elite in the run game, using his strength and power to consistently move defenders off the line of scrimmage. Not only is he effective in the run game, but his pass protection is elite. Proctor has been a full-time starter for the Crimson Tide since his true freshman season. He provides any team that drafts him with invaluable experience against top-tier SEC competition.

With his rare blend of size and athleticism, front offices should have no doubt that Proctor is the real deal. If the Giants turn in a draft card with Proctor’s name next April, their offensive line instantly gets a massive boost.

Is Proctor the Answer?

Yes, drafting Kadyn Proctor will solve the Giants’ offensive line problem. Proctor’s presence will help solidify the line and support Andrew Thomas on the other side. When healthy, Thomas is a top-five tackle, and the Giants tend to play their best. The only problem is that Thomas has struggled with injuries the past couple of seasons, largely due to the constant pressure he faces. Drafting Proctor will take some of the pressure off Thomas, allowing him to stay on the field more consistently.

Adding Kadyn Proctor not only keeps the quarterback upright but also boosts the rest of the line.

Main Image: Mark Hoffman/Milwaukee Journal Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The New York Giants’ offensive line has struggled in recent years, but the upcoming draft could finally fix the problem.

[1647,20
33533,1674,92,40
post-244730","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-draft","category-giants","tag-2026-nfl-draft","tag-alabama-crimson-tide","tag-new-york-giants","tag-nfl
["GET
