He finished as a top ten fantasy quarterback last season, despite the Eagles ranking near the bottom of the league in pass rate, neutral pass rate, and pass rate over expected. As we in the fantasy community know, the rushing prowess of Hurts is second to none, and arguably what makes him the lethal commodity he has become since he took over the reins in Philadelphia.

Jalen Hurts Fantasy Outlook: Overall QB1 Within Outcomes

Fantasy Football Profile: Jalen Hurts

2024 in Review

Last year, Jalen Hurts finished as the overall QB8, scoring 315.1 fantasy points. He passed for 2903 yards with 18 touchdown passes to just five interceptions. Despite those pedestrian passing numbers by today’s NFL standards, on the ground is where Hurts boosted his fantasy output. He rushed for 630 yards and another 14 scores. Hurts led all signal callers on the ground in attempts and touchdowns. He was fifth among fantasy quarterbacks in points per game with 21. He was the top-ranked fantasy quarterback in expected rushing scores with 11.7 and in the top four among all fantasy players.

2024 marked the fourth consecutive year Hurts has averaged over 2o fantasy points per game, despite his lowest passing yardage total since 2021. However, it should not be discounted that a concussion, in essence, forced Hurts to miss the final three games last season, and he was a top-five fantasy quarterback before.

2025 Projection

Jalen Hurts is projected to score 359 fantasy points on 3.536 passing yards, 24 touchdown passes, and nine interceptions. On the ground, he is forecasted to rush for an additional 633 yards and another 13 scores. Other factors to consider as we further project his fantasy outlook are that the ‘tush-push’ remains a legal play and a massive boost to his value. In addition, Hurts led the Eagles in red-zone carries.

Philadelphia is expected to increase its passing volume in 2025. An obvious factor that accompanies this is the health of his receiving options: A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert. In four full games with all three players on the field, Hurts’ yards per attempt and touchdown rate were much better. Regardless, you still get a high floor that comes with Hurts, making him worthy of an early-round draft pick.

Early QB Targets in Fantasy Football

Jalen Hurts Fantasy Football ADP

Jalen Hurts goes off half-point PPR draft boards as the QB4 with an overall consensus ADP of 35.7. That puts him in the late second to early third round. If you are drafting in the middle of the rounds, grabbing an elite quarterback is recommended, especially if you are missing out on the elite wide receivers or running backs.

As we begin to execute our draft plan and strategize on what to do at quarterback, getting a player at the position who gives you at least 20 points per week should be your goal. Jalen Hurts checks that box! He is a top-tier quarterback in the same grouping as Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Jayden Daniels. He has high-level offensive weapons at his disposal. If Philadelphia increases its passing volume as expected, coupled with Hurts’ rushing ability, the overall QB1 is within reach.

Main Photo Credit: Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

Jalen Hurts is an obvious early-round fantasy draft target, giving you consistency and positional advantage each week.

[59,21
33430,9415,6670,5865,32192,2599,1056
post-243604","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-eagles","tag-2025-fantasy-football","tag-aj-brown","tag-devonta-smith","tag-jalen-hurts","tag-jayden-daniels","tag-josh-allen","tag-lamar-jackson
["GET
