Jackson comes in first on the quarterback rankings this year. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/07\/01\/josh-allen-fantasy-football-outlook-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Allen has finished as a top-two fantasy quarterback in five consecutive seasons<\/a>. There is no reason why that would stop in 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/08\/25\/baltimore-ravens-tight-end-room-2025-and-beyond\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Daniels<\/a> was a rookie sensation and finished as the overall QB5, despite leaving early in two games. The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/washington-commanders\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Commanders<\/a> improved by adding Deebo Samuel. Daniels is a top-three fantasy quarterback. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/20\/eagles-tush-push-under-fire-after-packers-revised-ban-proposal\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">\u201cTush Push\u201d was not banned<\/a>, so <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/08\/25\/jalen-hurts-fantasy-outlook-overall-qb1-within-outcomes\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Hurts<\/a> should be able to have<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HurtJa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">double-digit rushing touchdowns for the fifth consecutive year<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/22\/cincinnati-bengals-beat-joe-burrows-next-steps\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Burrow<\/a> is the only non-dual-threat quarterback of the bunch, but with how bad the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/bengals\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Bengals&#8217;<\/a> defense is, he will have to throw a ton to keep up. Without injuries to the top five guys, it is very difficult to see how anyone else will perform better than them, making this tier of quarterbacks one to avoid in fantasy drafts due to a lack of value. Fantasy football drafting is all about value, and there is not much value and upside among these players. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/08\/13\/ideal-quarterback-draft-strategy-fantasy-football-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Therefore, it is better to take a player at another position instead and wait to take a quarterback later<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/06\/26\/patrick-mahomes-fantasy-outlook\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Mahomes<\/a> was the QB11 last season and will be dealing with the suspension of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/07\/17\/chiefs-rice-jail-probation-crash-mahomes-worthy\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Rashee Rice<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/07\/22\/baker-mayfield-fantasy-football-outlook-2025-can-he-reproduce-his-career-year-from-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Mayfield<\/a> was the QB4, as he had a career season. The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/cowboys\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Cowboys<\/a> improved their passing game, while their rushing attack is not expected to be strong.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/07\/22\/caleb-williams-fantasy-outlook-expect-a-qb1-finish\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Williams<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/07\/16\/drake-maye-fantasy-outlook-viable-late-round-qb-option\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Maye<\/a> are two sophomore quarterbacks with dual-threat abilities, with new head coaches and offensive coordinators looking to make the next leap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Drake Maye was the QB14 in fantasy points per game in the weeks he was a starter. <\/p>\n<p>He also averaged more rushing yards per game than Josh Allen. <\/p>\n<p>He has massive upside, and we&#39;re drafting him at his floor. Lawrence also has the best group of weapons around him with the addition of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/06\/25\/travis-hunter-fantasy-football-outlook-two-way-monster-or-part-time-receiver\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Travis Hunter<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/08\/18\/bryce-young-fantasy-outlook-breakout-coming\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Young<\/a> had three top-eight fantasy finishes in his final six games played in 2024. He really turned it around after being benched at the end of the season. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2024\/04\/19\/cj-stroud-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Stroud<\/a> was the QB11 in just 15 games played in his rookie season in 2023, but he struggled in 2024. href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/08\/25\/jalen-hurts-fantasy-outlook-overall-qb1-within-outcomes\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Ward<\/a> have never played a snap in the NFL, while <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/02\/22\/michael-penix-jr-dynasty-outlook-for-young-falcons-quarterback\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Penix<\/a> has only played in three games.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/07\/geno-smith-fantasy-football-outlook-after-blockbuster-trade\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Smith<\/a>, Darnold, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/06\/07\/daniel-jones-worth-a-pick-at-the-end-of-best-ball-drafts\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Jones<\/a> are all on new teams.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tagovailoa just can\u2019t stay healthy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Tier 6: Bottom of the
