Coleman Owen attended Higley High School in Gilbert, Arizona. He then began his collegiate career at Northern Arizona. Owen played three games as a freshman, compiling two receptions for 19 yards. He started all five games the following year, tallying 16 receptions for 202 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n
In 2021, Owen played 11 games, starting nine. He caught 43 passes for 712 yards and six touchdowns. He also received Honorable Mention All-Big Sky accolades.<\/p>\n
Owen started all nine of the contests he appeared in during the 2022 campaign. He registered 62 receptions for 690 yards and four touchdowns. Owen was also named a Second Team All-Big Sky selection. In 2023, he earned Second Team All-Big Sky honors after recording 54 catches for 649 yards and five touchdowns.<\/p>\n
Owen transferred to Ohio<\/a> for the 2024 season. During his first year with the Bobcats, he caught 78 passes for 1,245 yards and eight touchdowns. He became only the third player in school history to log over 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
