By now, everyone is aware of what Micah Parsons was asking for \u2014 just his fair share of money and the financial respect Jerry Jones owes him as a superstar player, like CeeDee Lamb and the league\u2019s highest-paid quarterback, Dak Prescott<\/a>. Around the end of January 2025, contract talks for Parsons had started. Since then, he and his agent, David Mulugheta, have been working toward an extension. But Jones never showed David the respect Micah felt he deserved. In his statement, Micah said, <\/span>\u201cI no longer want to be held to [closed-door] negotiations without my agent present,\u201d<\/span><\/i> after declaring, <\/span>\u201cI no longer want to play for the Dallas Cowboys.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

But everybody knows who could be behind this raucous in the city of Dallas- Jerry Jones<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

August 1, 2025, would be considered one of the most devastating days for NFL fans, without a doubt. After visiting the Cowboys\u2019 front office and owner Jerry Jones for a contract extension over the past couple of months, Micah Parsons decided to move on. The star defender of the Cowboys franchise posted on X that he no longer wants to be a Cowboy, sharing an emotional message: <\/span>\u201cThank you, Dallas.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

At this point, with Micah at training camp, everyone expected Parsons to receive the highest-paid non-QB deal<\/a>. But things have gone south. And now, as Parsons has requested to part ways with <\/span>\u201cAmerica’s Team,\u201d<\/span><\/i> fans are not sparing Jerry Jones and the Cowboys organization<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just hours before Micah’s heartfelt confession on X, Jon Machota had reported that contract talks between Parsons and the Cowboys were deteriorating. But no one expected it would reach the point where the defender became so frustrated. A couple of weeks ago, Parsons had expressed his feelings to The Undertaker on a podcast. The 27-year-old said the Cowboys were dragging out his contract extension. That’s why after Micah’s surprising Trade request, fans reacted heavily on social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He wouldn’t even be the smartest person eating pasta in a\u00a0 kindergarten.\u201d<\/span><\/i> Following these comments, more fans reacted, saying,<\/span> \u201cJerry had to one-up Nico Harrison as the dumbest GM in Dallas sports,\u201d<\/span><\/i> \u201cIt\u2019s literally just Jerry,\u201d \u201cJerry wants the news cycle 24\/7.\u201d <\/span><\/i>This is one of the two nightmares the sports industry in Dallas is facing. The first one was the Dallas Mavericks<\/a><\/strong> trading Luka<\/strong>. And now, it’s about the Dallas Cowboys.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CeeDee Lamb sends stern words to the Jones family<\/b><\/h2>\n

Just minutes after Micah’s teary-eyed message to the Dallas Cowboys fans, CeeDee Lamb bashed the Cowboys’ front office and Jones for getting the star defender a contract. He said, <\/span>\u201cNever fails dawg. Just pay the man what you owe em.\u201d<\/span><\/i> \u00a0<\/span>Now, let’s see if the Cowboys would really trade Micah or request him to stay with the finest contract extension.<\/span><\/p>\n
