He exploded in the AFC Wild Card Game, catching nine passes for 197 yards and a touchdown. Fantasy managers are hoping that he can continue that into 2025. What is Ladd McConkey\u2019s fantasy football outlook for redraft leagues?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Fantasy Football Outlook for Ladd McConkey<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>2024 Production<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like most rookie wide receivers, McConkey got off to a slow start, only scoring double-digit fantasy points twice in his first six weeks. Then, he became a staple in fantasy lineups, scoring double-digit points in all but one game he played in for the rest of the season. In his final seven games, his lowest weekly finish was the WR24. However, five of those seven finishes were between the WR16 and WR24, so he was a very consistent low-end WR2 in twelve-team leagues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">McConkey finished with<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McCoLa00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">82 receptions on 112 targets for 1149 receiving yards and seven touchdowns<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. According to<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.playerprofiler.com\/nfl\/ladd-mcconkey\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PlayerProfiler<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, McConkey was 36th in route participation, 39th in routes run, and 23rd in targets. Mandatory Credit: David Butler II-Imagn Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3><b>McConkey 2025 Outlook<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/chargers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Chargers<\/a> are expected to be a run-first team this season after signing <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/11\/najee-harris-dynasty-outlook-after-chargers-signing\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Najee Harris<\/a> and drafting <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/28\/omarion-hampton-stats-rookie-season-chargers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Omarion Hampton<\/a> in the first round of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">2025 NFL Draft<\/a>. The Chargers were already run-heavy last season with <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/06\/10\/j-k-dobbins-rj-harvey-fantasy-football-outlooks-after-broncos-signing\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">J.K. Dobbins<\/a> and Gus Edwards, so expect them to continue this in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">McConkey dominated as a slot wide receiver last year, but the Chargers&#8217; outside wide receivers struggled. They lost <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/13\/joshua-palmer-dynasty-outlook-buffalo-bills-wide-receiver-2025-fantasy-football\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Josh Palmer<\/a> in free agency but re-signed Mike Williams and drafted <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/12\/tre-harris-chargers-rookie-wide-receiver-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Tre Harris<\/a> out of Ole Miss in the second round of the Draft. Quentin Johnston has not lived up to expectations, so look for Harris to replace him as a starter on the outside. The Chargers also completely revamped their tight end room, signing<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ourlads.com\/nfldepthcharts\/depthchart\/LAC\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Will Dissly and Tyler Conklin<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and then drafting <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/02\/28\/2025-nfl-draft-scouting-report-oronde-gadsden-ii-syracuse\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Oronde Gadsden III<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As mentioned above, McConkey only ranked 23rd in targets with 112. I don\u2019t expect him to see that many more in 2025 with the added running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends around him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/fantasy\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Read More Fantasy Football Redraft Profiles Including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Hunter<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><b>Ladd McConkey ADP<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fantasypros.com\/nfl\/adp\/ppr-wr.php\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FantasyPros<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in PPR scoring, McConkey is being drafted as the WR11 and 19th player overall. The three receivers just above him are Brian Thomas Jr., <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/02\/04\/drake-london-dynasty-outlook-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Drake London<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2024\/04\/25\/philadelphia-eagles-contract-extension-aj-brown\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">A.J. This could cause negative regression in 2025. Managers are skewed by his amazing performance the last time they watched him in the Wild Card Game. He was only a low-end WR2 for his best stretch last season and is being drafted as a low-end WR1 right now. There are players with better value further down the ADP board, including Rice, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/09\/davante-adams-3-time-all-pro-signs-contract\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Davante Adams<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/04\/12\/tyreek-hill-trade-rumors-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Tyreek Hill<\/a>.
