The best ball season is in full swing, and Fields represents a great option for those who like to take advantage of early drafting. Watching Fields as a passer can be difficult at times, but if we just focus on the overall fantasy results, being a QB1 is certainly within his range of outcomes in the 2025 fantasy season.

Justin Fields Fantasy Football Outlook

2025 Fantasy Football Profile: Justin Fields

2024 In Review

Last season, from a fantasy perspective, Justin Fields performed very well. From weeks one through six, he was the overall QB4. Fields averaged 18.8 fantasy points per game and had 10 total touchdowns. He was then removed by the Steelers’ coach, Mike Tomlin, from the starting lineup in favor of Russell Wilson. In essence, ending his fantasy season, except for some short-yardage packages.

Again, you have to somewhat overlook Justin Fields’ passing numbers and look at the whole picture when it comes to his fantasy value. He averaged just 184 passing yards per game, 6.73 yards per attempt, and five passing touchdowns. Where you strike gold with Fields is his rushing ability. In the six games he started in 2024, Fields averaged just under 10 rush attempts and 39 rushing yards per game, to go along with five rushing touchdowns.

Dec 1, 2024; Cincinnati, Ohio, USA; Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields (2) runs with the ball against the Cincinnati Bengals in the second half at Paycor Stadium. He is projected to pass for 3,140 yards with 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Rushing-wise, Fields is forecast to rush for 679 yards and another six scores. Last season, he did improve in his passing metrics. Fields ranked top-12 in accuracy throw rate, best catchable ball rate, and turnover-worthy throws.

Reports out of Jets OTAs report a growing relationship between Fields, Head Coach Aaron Glenn, and alpha wide receiver Garrett Wilson. Fields is showing improvement in the big passing plays, the one component that was missing last season with the Steelers. The camaraderie with Wilson should be a natural fit since they were college teammates at Ohio State.

The addition of rookie tight end Mason Taylor, a great late-round fantasy target by the way, has been another pleasant surprise at OTAs. The fantasy results have been there when Fields plays. Over his last three seasons as a starter, he has finished as QB7, QB9, and QB5.

A bonus fantasy nugget related to Fields, he has been prone to a high check-down rate over his last four seasons. Ranking in 11th or higher in three of those four years. That is a potential bump to running back Breece Hall and his involvement in the New York Jets’ passing game.

Justin Fields Fantasy Football ADP

Justin Field’s current best ball ranking is QB11 with an ADP of 87, putting him in the middle of the seventh round. In redraft leagues, he goes the QB14 with an ADP of 106. If history holds, Fields will return QB1 and top-12 value at the quarterback position. I wouldn’t say he is a smash value, but he certainly is a very good one at his current price tag.

Main Image: John Jones-Imagn Images

Very similar to Drake Maye, Justin Fields is a terrific option this season for those who like to wait on the quarterback in fantasy drafts.

[59,6,6431
33430,8994,6990,7330
post-237755","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-jets","category-nfl-teams","tag-2025-fantasy-football","tag-garrett-wilson","tag-justin-fields","tag-new-york-jets-news
["GET
