The Buffalo Bills have reached the NFL playoffs in six straight seasons, but Josh Allen and Co. have yet to parlay that success into a Super Bowl appearance. At least one NFL analyst believes that’s going to change in 2025.<\/p>\n

Jeffri Chadiha<\/a> of NFL.com predicted Thursday the Bills are going to overcome a crowded AFC field, which also features the Baltimore Ravens<\/a>, Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>, and Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>, to reach the Super Bowl and ultimately win the franchise’s first championship.<\/p>\n

“This is bold simply because the Bills have dealt with so much heartache over the last five seasons. They’ve lost four playoff games to the Chiefs (including two AFC title bouts) and suffered another home defeat to the Bengals in the 2022 Divisional Round,” Chadiha wrote. “This team has too much talent and smart coaching to continually miss out on opportunities to get over the hump, which is why this prediction makes so much sense today.”<\/p>\n

Buffalo last reached the Super Bowl at the end of the 1993 season when Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed and Bruce Smith were leading the charge. More than three decades later, it’s time for Allen<\/a>, James Cook<\/a>, Khalil Shakir<\/a> and new arrival Joey Bosa<\/a> to end the drought.<\/p>\n

The Bills reached the AFC Championship Game last season before their latest heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs. They’ve been unable to generate enough defensive stops against Patrick Mahomes<\/a> and the talented K.C. offense when it matters most. Chadiha believes the pieces are going to fall in place this time around, though.<\/p>\n

“Quarterback Josh Allen is coming off his first MVP season. The defense added some nice pieces in the 2025 NFL Draft, including speedy cornerback Maxwell Hairston<\/a> and edge rusher Landon Jackson<\/a>. The schedule also looks favorable, with Buffalo playing 10 games against teams that didn’t produce a winning record in 2024,” Chadiha wrote. “There’s basically never been a better time for the Bills to earn the top seed in the AFC and potentially host a conference championship game. And if they can do that, they should win the whole damn thing.”<\/p>\n
