With redraft season not truly kicking off until July and most dynasty leagues quieting down after the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-draft\/\" target=\"_self\">2025 NFL Draft<\/a>, Bestball is the best way to keep your head in the game while still featuring a unique scoring system that requires a unique draft strategy.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note: This Bestball draft was a real entry into <a  href=\"https:\/\/underdogfantasy.com\/rules\/tournaments\/the-puppy-2024\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Puppy tournament<\/a> on Underdog fantasy. Armed with the same quarterback, coaching staff, and atrocious defense, the sky is the limit for one of the game&#8217;s elite playmakers.<\/p>\n<h3>Second Round<\/h3>\n<p>2.01 &#8211; Brock Bowers<br \/>\n2.02 &#8211; Brian Thomas<br \/>\n2.03 &#8211; Derrick Henry<br \/>\n2.04 &#8211; Drake London<br \/>\n2.05 &#8211; A.J. Brown<br \/>\n2.06 &#8211; Ladd McConkey<br \/>\n2.07 &#8211; Jonathan Taylor<br \/>\n2.08 &#8211; Trey McBride<br \/>\n2.09 &#8211; DeVon Achane<br \/>\n2.10 &#8211; Josh Jacobs<br \/>\n2.11 &#8211; Bucky Irving<br \/>\n<strong>2.12 &#8211; Tee Higgins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Doubling down on Bengals wide receivers would be a dangerous strategy in redraft and dynasty, but it&#8217;s a smart move in a Bestball fantasy draft. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/16\/cincinnati-bengals-agree-to-massive-contract-extension-with-superstar-receiver\/\" target=\"_self\">Tee Higgins has his long-awaited extension<\/a> and has proven time and time again that he and Chase can simultaneously be valuable fantasy assets.<\/p>\n<h3>Third Round<\/h3>\n<p><strong>3.01 &#8211; Marvin Harrison<\/strong><br \/>\n3.02 &#8211; Jaxon Smith-Njigba<br \/>\n3.03 &#8211; Terry McLaurin<br \/>\n3.04 &#8211; Rashee Rice<br \/>\n3.05 &#8211; Garrett Wilson<br \/>\n3.06 &#8211; Tyreek Hill<br \/>\n3.07 &#8211; Davante Adams<br \/>\n3.08 &#8211; Josh Allen<br \/>\n3.09 &#8211; Chase Brown<br \/>\n3.10 &#8211; Mike Evans<br \/>\n3.11 &#8211; Kyren Williams<br \/>\n3.12 &#8211; Xavier Worthy<\/p>\n<p>Marvin Harrison Jr. is somewhat overlooked and is a fantastic value in the top of the third round. While he didn&#8217;t have the same dominant rookie year as <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/02\/13\/malik-nabers-giants-wide-receiver-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_self\">guys like Malik Nabers<\/a> and Brian Thomas, his 62\/885\/8 stat line suggests he has a very bright future in this league. Stacking a quarterback and wide receiver dramatically raises the ceiling of any fantasy team, and that&#8217;s especially valuable in a Bestball draft. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/22\/cincinnati-bengals-beat-joe-burrows-next-steps\/\" target=\"_self\">Burrow is one of the game&#8217;s top passers<\/a>, and his elite combination of offensive weaponry and defensive ineptitude means he should be throwing early and often. With Burrow, Higgins, and Chase on the same roster, this team could explode if the Bengals play up to their potential.<\/p>\n<h3>Fifth Round<\/h3>\n<p><strong>5.01 &#8211; George Kittle<\/strong><br \/>\n5.02 &#8211; George Pickens<br \/>\n5.03 &#8211; Calvin Ridley<br \/>\n5.04 &#8211; Jalen Hurts<br \/>\n5.05 &#8211; Joe Milton<br \/>\n5.06 &#8211; Chub Hubbard<br \/>\n5.07 &#8211; Omarion Hampton<br \/>\n5.08 &#8211; Kenneth Walker<br \/>\n5.09 &#8211; Zay Flowers<br \/>\n5.10 &#8211; Alvin Kamara<br \/>\n5.11 &#8211; Jaylen Waddle<br \/>\n5.12 &#8211; Jauan Jennings<\/p>\n<p>Brock Bowers and Trey McBride are (rightfully) the two biggest names in the tight end landscape, but nobody should forget about George Kittle. The 49ers&#8217; tight end is one of the most talented players of his generation and is in the perfect position to succeed in 2025. With <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/01\/fantasy-football-breakdown-deebo-samuel-to-the-washington-commanders\/\" target=\"_self\">Deebo Samuel gone<\/a> and Brandon Aiyuk returning from a season-ending injury, the newly extended Brock Purdy should target his big tight end early and often throughout the season.<\/p>\n<h3>Sixth Round<\/h3>\n<p>6.01 &#8211; RJ Harvey<br \/>\n6.02 &#8211; Jordan Addison<br \/>\n6.03 &#8211; Chris Olave<br \/>\n6.04 &#8211; TreVeyon Henderson<br \/>\n6.05 &#8211; Rome Odunze<br \/>\n6.06 &#8211; Sam LaPorta<br \/>\n6.07 &#8211; Chris Godwin<br \/>\n6.08 &#8211; Jerry Jeudy<br \/>\n6.09 &#8211; Deebo Samuel<br \/>\n6.10 &#8211; Matthew Golden<br \/>\n6.11 &#8211; David Montgomery<br \/>\n<strong>6.12 &#8211; James Connner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>James Conner is not the sexiest draft pick in Bestball, but the veteran knows how to get fantasy points. Following another top-12 finish, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/02\/22\/james-conner-cardinals-running-back-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_self\">Conner returns to the Cardinals<\/a> as the unquestioned top option in this backfield. With 2024 third-round pick <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cSjEwGbYq-Q&amp;pp=ygUgZmFudGFzeSBmb290YmFsbCBycGcgdHJleSBiZW5zb24%3D\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trey Benson underwhelming last year<\/a>, Conner should retain his heavy workload and has a clear path to another strong season.<\/p>\n<h3>Seventh Round<\/h3>\n<p><strong>7.01 &#8211; Quinshon Judkins<\/strong><br \/>\n7.02 &#8211; Ricky Pearsall<br \/>\n7.03 &#8211; D&#8217;Andre Swift<br \/>\n7.04 &#8211; Tony Pollard<br \/>\n7.05 &#8211; Kaleb Johnson<br \/>\n7.06 &#8211; Jayden Reed<br \/>\n7.07 &#8211; Stefon Diggs<br \/>\n7.08 &#8211; Khalil Shakir<br \/>\n7.09 &#8211; Jakobi Meyers<br \/>\n7.10 &#8211; Brandon Aiyuk<br \/>\n7.11 &#8211; Aaron Jones<br \/>\n7.12 &#8211; Patrick Mahomes<\/p>\n<p>James Conner provides a safe floor in this Bestball draft, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/06\/2025-nfl-draft-scouting-report-quinshon-judkins\/\" target=\"_self\">second-round rookie Quinshon Judkins<\/a> gives this fantasy team some upside down the road. The Ohio State product might start his career behind Jerome Ford, but it shouldn&#8217;t be long before he wins the starting job. Cleveland&#8217;s offense isn&#8217;t the most intimidating unit in sports, but you should never bet against a talented youngster with a clear path to playing time.<\/p>\n<h3>Eighth Round<\/h3>\n<p>8.01 &#8211; Emeka Egbuka<br \/>\n8.02 &#8211; T.J. Hockenson<br \/>\n8.03 &#8211; Isiah Pacheco<br \/>\n8.04 &#8211; Cooper Kupp<br \/>\n8.05 &#8211; Brian Robinson Jr<br \/>\n8.06 &#8211; Darnell Mooney<br \/>\n8.07 &#8211; Jonnu Smith<br \/>\n8.08 &#8211; Jayden Higgins<br \/>\n8.09 &#8211; Luther Burden<br \/>\n8.10 &#8211; Cam Skattebo<br \/>\n8.11 &#8211; Josh Downs<br \/>\n<strong>8.12 &#8211; Michael Pittman<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Michael Pittman is currently the WR54 in Bestball drafts, which is just insulting. While the former second-round pick had a rough 2024, it&#8217;s hard to blame him for playing through a serious back injury. Now that he&#8217;s healthy, he should return to being the top option in this passing attack. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/23\/the-colts-could-but-should-not-trade-anthony-richardson\/\" target=\"_self\">Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones<\/a> aren&#8217;t inspiring options under center, but you can&#8217;t ignore this projected target share late in the eighth round.<\/p>\n<h3>Ninth Round<\/h3>\n<p><strong>9.01 &#8211; Tre Harris<br \/>\n<\/strong>9.02 &#8211; Tyrone Tracy<br \/>\n9.03 &#8211; Caleb Williams<br \/>\n9.04 &#8211; Rashid Shaheed<br \/>\n9.05 &#8211; Najee Harris<br \/>\n9.06 &#8211; Justin Fields<br \/>\n9.07 &#8211; Jordan Mason<br \/>\n9.08 &#8211; Zach Charbonnet<br \/>\n9.09 &#8211; Baker Mayfield<br \/>\n9.10 &#8211; Travis Kelce<br \/>\n9.11 &#8211; Kyler Murray<br \/>\n9.12 &#8211; Bo Nix<\/p>\n<p>Tre Harris is the perfect medium-risk, high-reward fantasy option that can help take your team to the next level in Bestball drafts. The big-play threat landed on a wide-open Chargers depth chart and has a clear path to playing time. While he won&#8217;t usurp <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2024\/11\/20\/ladd-mcconkey-chargers-wide-receiver-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_self\">Ladd McConkey atop the depth chart<\/a>, his big-play style means he can give you a week-winning performance on just a handful of targets.<\/p>\n<h3>10th Round<\/h3>\n<p>10.01 &#8211; Evan Engram<br \/>\n10.02 &#8211; Marvin Mims<br \/>\n10.03 &#8211; Mark Andrews<br \/>\n10.04 &#8211; Jaylen Warren<br \/>\n10.05 &#8211; Keon Coleman<br \/>\n10.06 &#8211; Jared Goff<br \/>\n10.07 &#8211; Travis Etienne<br \/>\n10.08 &#8211; Rashod Bateman<br \/>\n10.09 &#8211; Bhayshul Tuten<br \/>\n10.10 &#8211; Jordan Love<br \/>\n10.11 &#8211; Dak Prescott<br \/>\n<strong>10.12 &#8211; Kyle Williams<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Drake Maye looked like the real deal as a rookie, and he should be even better in 2025 with an improved coaching staff and a revamped offensive line. However, they still need someone to step up as Maye&#8217;s go-to receiver, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/16\/kyle-williams-patriots-rookie-wide-receiver-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_self\">Kyle Williams could fill that void<\/a>. Demario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte are better in depth roles, and nobody knows what Stefon Diggs has left in his tank. Williams&#8217; style of play perfectly complements Maye&#8217;s natural skills, and nobody should be surprised if he sees an immediate role in this offense.<\/p>\n<h3>11th Round<\/h3>\n<p><strong>11.1 &#8211; Tyjae Spears<\/strong><br \/>\n11.2 &#8211; Brock Purdy<br \/>\n11.3 &#8211; Jack Bech<br \/>\n11.4 &#8211; Colston Loveland<br \/>\n11.5 &#8211; Rhamondre Stevenson<br \/>\n11.6 &#8211; Javonte Williams<br \/>\n11.7 &#8211; Justin Herbert<br \/>\n11.8 &#8211; Tyler Warren<br \/>\n11.9 &#8211; Drake Maye<br \/>\n11.10 &#8211; David Njoku<br \/>\n11.11 &#8211; J.J. McCarthy<br \/>\n11.12 &#8211; Hollywood Brown<\/p>\n<p>Running backs easily have the best return on investment in late-round drafts, and Tyjae Spears is as good a choice as any. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/01\/08\/tennessee-titans-make-a-decision-on-coach-brian-callahan\/\" target=\"_self\">Head coach Brian Callahan<\/a> recently said he wants an even split between Spears and Tony Pollard, which bodes well for Spears in 2025. Additionally, Pollard is entering his age-28 season and is coming off consecutive 300-touch seasons, so don&#8217;t be surprised if he begins to slow down.<\/p>\n<h3>12th Round<\/h3>\n<p>12.01 &#8211; Isaac Guerendo<br \/>\n12.02 &#8211; Dalton Kincaid<br \/>\n12.03 &#8211; Trevor Lawrence<br \/>\n12.04 &#8211; Christian Kirk<br \/>\n12.05 &#8211; Jaydon Blue<br \/>\n12.06 &#8211; Rachaad White<br \/>\n12.07 &#8211; C.J. Stroud<br \/>\n12.08 &#8211; Michael Penix<br \/>\n12.09 &#8211; Jalen McMillan<br \/>\n12.10 &#8211; Tucker Kraft<br \/>\n12.11 &#8211; Jake Ferguson<br \/>\n<strong>12.12 &#8211; Ray Davis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While Tyjae Spears may have standalone value, Ray Davis is a pure handcuff. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/12\/ranking-possible-outcomes-buffalo-bills-james-cook-contract-extension-nfl-2025\/\" target=\"_self\">James Cook is the unquestioned RB1<\/a> in Buffalo, but the Bills didn&#8217;t bring in anyone to compete for the backup job. Davis has a clear path to a massive workload if Cook goes down or holds out for a contract extension. In the back of the 12th round, that&#8217;s more than enough to justify a draft pick in this fantasy Bestball draft.<\/p>\n<h3>13th Round<\/h3>\n<p><strong>13.01 &#8211; Tank Bigsby<br \/>\n<\/strong>13.02 &#8211; Kyle Pitts<br \/>\n13.03 &#8211; Dallas Goedert<br \/>\n13.04 &#8211; Tua Tagovailoa<br \/>\n13.05 &#8211; Austin Ekeler<br \/>\n13.06 &#8211; Quentin Johnston<br \/>\n13.07 &#8211; Jaylin Noel<br \/>\n13.08 &#8211; Trey Benson<br \/>\n13.09 &#8211; Isaiah Likely<br \/>\n13.10 &#8211; Adam Thielen<br \/>\n13.11 &#8211; Michael Wilson<br \/>\n13.12 &#8211; Xavier Legette<\/p>\n<p>Tank Bigsby is the cheapest player in Jacksonville&#8217;s backfield, even though he was easily the team&#8217;s best running back last year. Travis Etienne had a disastrous 2024, and while <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/02\/02\/2025-nfl-draft-scouting-report-dynasty-outlook-bhayshul-tuten-virginia-tech\/\" target=\"_self\">Bhayshul Tuten may be a fun rookie<\/a>, he&#8217;s a fourth-round pick and probably won&#8217;t play a large role right away. Bigsby should see a decent workload on a team with an offensive-minded coach, solid quarterback, and a great wide receiver duo.<\/p>\n<h3>14th Round<\/h3>\n<p>14.01 &#8211; Pat Bryant<br \/>\n14.02 &#8211; Tyler Allgeier<br \/>\n14.03 &#8211; Romeo Doubs<br \/>\n14.04 &#8211; Joshua Palmer<br \/>\n14.05 &#8211; Bryce Young<br \/>\n14.06 &#8211; Roschon Johnson<br \/>\n14.07 &#8211; Pat Freiermuth<br \/>\n14.08 &#8211; Wan&#8217;Dale Robinson<br \/>\n14.09 &#8211; Braelon Allen<br \/>\n14.10 &#8211; Cam Ward<br \/>\n14.11 &#8211; Rico Dowdle<br \/>\n<strong>14.12 &#8211; Hunter Henry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>George Kittle provides the ceiling for this Bestball fantasy draft, but Hunter Henry can provide a safe floor. As mentioned earlier, New England didn&#8217;t do all that much to improve the pass-catching unit, which means Henry should still see a good amount of targets as <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/10\/patriots-sign-drake-mayes-protector-to-3-year-contract\/\" target=\"_self\">Drake Maye&#8217;s go-to security blanket<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>15th Round<\/h3>\n<p><strong>15.01 &#8211; Anthony Richardson<br \/>\n<\/strong>15.02 &#8211; Cedric Tillman<br \/>\n15.03 &#8211; Elic Ayomanor<br \/>\n15.04 &#8211; Mike Gesicki<br \/>\n15.05 &#8211; Zach Ertz<br \/>\n15.06 &#8211; Matthew Stafford<br \/>\n15.07 &#8211; Keenan Allen<br \/>\n15.08 &#8211; Brenton Strange<br \/>\n15.09 &#8211; Geno Smith<br \/>\n15.10 &#8211; Alec Pierce<br \/>\n15.11 &#8211; J.K. Dobbins<br \/>\n15.12 &#8211; DeMairo Douglas<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/17\/wholl-be-the-colts-starter-anthony-richardson-or-daniel-jones\/\" target=\"_self\">Anthony Richardson is not the safest draft pick<\/a> by any stretch of the imagination, but nobody won a Bestball fantasy league by being cautious. The elite upside is still there, and hopefully, a true competition with Daniel Jones can bring out the best in the former top-four pick. Rushing quarterbacks are a cheat code in fantasy football, and stacking him with Pittman is an added bonus.<\/p>\n<h3>16th Round<\/h3>\n<p>16.01 &#8211; Dylan Sampson<br \/>\n16.02 &#8211; Terrance Ferguson<br \/>\n16.03 &#8211; Sam Darnold<br \/>\n16.04 &#8211; Mason Taylor<br \/>\n16.05 &#8211; Andrei Iosivas<br \/>\n16.06 &#8211; Tyler Conklin<br \/>\n16.07 &#8211; Jalen Coker<br \/>\n16.08 &#8211; Dalton Schultz<br \/>\n16.09 &#8211; D.J. Giddens<br \/>\n16.10 &#8211; Jarquez Hunter<br \/>\n16.11 &#8211; Jaylen Wright<br \/>\n<strong>16.12 &#8211; MarShawn Lloyd<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/14\/josh-jacobs-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_self\">Josh Jacobs put up remarkable numbers<\/a> last year, but he did it on 337 touches. The former Raider is no spring chicken, and he suffered a serious drop in efficiency and volume the last time we saw him handle this type of workload.
