Fans are beginning to prepare their travel plans to see their favorite team in action. There\u2019s an extra sense of optimism this time of year and every team\u2019s record starts the same: 0-0. The New York Giants, however, have the toughest strength of schedule despite finishing 2024 with a 3-14 record. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/14\/report-giants-named-fit-for-journeyman-gerald-everett-other-5-possible-fits\/\" target=\"_self\">Fans<\/a> should note that the perception of an NFL schedule is ever fluid. With every season comes injuries and surprise teams rising and falling on a weekly basis. Be that as it may, here\u2019s an e<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">arly <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2025 New York Giants schedule prediction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h1>Giants 2025 Schedule: Way too Early Game by Game Predictions<\/h1>\n<h2><b>Week 1@ Commanders 1 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Truth be told, the Giants might actually have a better roster than the Commanders outside of quarterback. They played the upstart Commanders well in both matchups in 2024 and if they had a healthy kicker in week two, they probably would have won. However, Jayden Daniels makes any NFL roster substantially better.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abdul Carter will be a x-factor in his NFL debut, but Daniels and the Commanders will be too much for the Giants in a \u201ccloser than most would think\u201d type of\u00a0 game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 0-1<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 2 @ Cowboys 1 pm\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2024\/05\/16\/exciting-matchups-cowboys-schedule\/\" target=\"_self\">Dak Prescott<\/a> has beaten the Giants 13 straight times in his career. The last time he lost to them, Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. were still on the team. They just added George Pickens, who will compliment CeeDee Lamb perfectly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That being said, the Giants pass rush takes advantage of a young Dallas offensive line. Russell Wilson does just enough to give the Giants an upset win.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 1-1<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 3 vs Chiefs SNF\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Home debut on Sunday Night football against the three-time defending AFC champions. Poor season ticket holders. This might be close-ish, but it won\u2019t matter. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/05\/03\/chiefs-mahomes-walker-roster-minicamp\/\" target=\"_self\">Mahomes<\/a> will figure it out against an inferior opponent one way or another.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 1-2<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 4 vs Chargers 1 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On paper, this looks like it\u2019s going to a grind it out type of game. Jim Harbough loves to run the football and this could be a coming out party for rookie Omarion Hampton. The Chargers defense is sneaky good, too. Throwing a rookie in the fire on the road is a mistake waiting to happen. Not to mention, this is one of the few games on the schedule the Giants might be favored in.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tyler Shough, Spencer Rattler, doesn\u2019t matter. This Saints team was already in rebuild mode and now with Carr\u2019s retirement, they might be the NFL\u2019s worst team. It\u2019ll be stressful because the Giants always make these games stressful, but they\u2019ll come out of the French Quarter with a win. This is the only 2025 New York Giants prediction to feel comfortable about.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 2-3<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>Week 6 vs Philly TNF<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The good news is that the Giants schedule lightens up after getting a win on the road in New Orleans. The bad news is that complete sarcasm. In fact, the team\u2019s first two home games this season are against last year\u2019s Super Bowl matchup. Just three days later, the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles come to Metlife for a Thursday Night Football showdown.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Historically, the Giants have been bad in primetime and against the Eagles. Until they prove otherwise, there\u2019s no reason to pick them here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 2-4<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 7 @ Denver 4 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a mini-bye, the team travels to the mile high city to take on the Broncos. This is a spot that feels like it could be a win with an improved team. However, the Denver defense might be too excited for Wilson\u2019s revenge game. I think this one has a chance to get ugly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 2-5<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 8 @ Philly 1 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two weeks later after their first meeting, the Giants and Eagles meet in Philly in week 8. For the reasons as before, the Eagles take this one. One day that\u2019ll change, but there\u2019s no reason to pick the Giants to beat the Eagles in a meaningful game until they do so.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 2-6\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 9 vs 49ers 1 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fresh off Halloween weekend, the chants for Dart start getting louder. To some level, this makes sense for his debut. The team will mostly be out of contention at this point, the regime is on the hot seat and a future quarterback might be their saving grace. Still, this is the 49ers defense. Not a wise call for a rookie quarterback to make his debut against Nick Bosa and company.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oh, and the 49ers win an ugly one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 2-7<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 10 @ Chicago 1 pm\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Giants need a win in the worst possible here and they get one in Chicago. It could save Schoen and Daboll\u2019s job for the time being. The Bears are more talented, but the Giants play hard and grind one out on the road.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 3-7<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 11 vs Green Bay 1 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To Dart not to Dart. That is the question here for Brian Daboll. For the sake of keeping his job, Daboll inserts Dart into the starting lineup here. <\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This isn\u2019t the best matchup for a rookie quarterback. The Packers defense is solid and can give young quarterbacks trouble, but if Dart shows that he belongs and improves in the back half of a tough season, suddenly the team\u2019s record won&#8217;t mean as much. This is the most important 2025 New York Giants prediction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daboll starts that gamble here. A new era of Giants football could begin. Albeit in a loss.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 3-8\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 12 @ Detroit 1 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Jaxson Dart led Giants go to Detroit the Sunday before Thanksgiving. There\u2019s not much tape on Dart yet and Daboll creates an effective game plan<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for the rookie. He shows signs of promise in a dome and the Giants catch the Lions sleeping before Thanksgiving.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 4-8<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 13 @ New England MNF<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every time the Giants wear their white uniforms against the Patriots, there\u2019s always a sense of nostalgia for Super Bowls 42 and 46. However, the Giants don\u2019t get the win here. Drake Maye shows Giants fans what Jaxson Dart could be in year two. Tough primetime debut for the rookie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 4-9\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 14 BYE<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A late bye week and preparation for the final stretch of the season.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 15 vs Washington 1 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fresh off the bye, the Commanders visit the Giants. Much like week one, this game will be competitive until the fourth quarter. Abdul Carter will learn from mistakes he made against Daniels in week one and help control the line of scrimmage. <\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Still, the Commanders will have too much at stake to lose.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 4-10<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 16 vs Minnesota 1 pm<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minnesota is a tough team to figure out this offseason. JJ McCarthy is a huge question mark after he missed his rookie season. Jaxson Dart will have another game where he flashes potential, this time in front of a home crowd,\u00a0 but the Giants walk away with a loss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 4-11\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 17 @ Vegas\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vegas on the road won\u2019t feel like a road game. There will be a ton of blue in the crowd enjoying the city for the weekend. In an ugly one, the Giants sneak away with another win and some momentum for the finale.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Record 6-10\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Week 18 vs Dallas\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Giants ride the high of their win in Vegas and upset Dallas a second time to end the season. WFAN callers will say it reminds them of Eli Manning\u2019s win against Dallas in 2004 season finale and suddenly, the team feels like they have a bright future again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Final record: 7-10<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Again, this 2025 New York Giants prediction can be completely wrong. It\u2019s difficult to predict wins and losses in May before training camp, injuries, and changes to teams.
