Here are three UDFAs who could make the Denver Broncos 53-man roster.

Denver Broncos UDFAs Who Could Make An Impact On The Team In 2025

Edge Johnny Walker Jr., Missouri

Walker is an experienced and productive college player who steadily improved every season he played in college. He played in 40 games with 25 starts during his college career and had 14.5 sacks and six forced fumbles in his last two seasons at Missouri. Walker was a team captain in 2024 and finished his career at Missouri within the top 10 all-time in career sacks in program history. Walker is a slightly older and undersized pass rusher who lacks any elite traits. He is a solid athlete with good explosiveness, but overall, he does not possess standout athletic ability.

Dec 30, 2024; Nashville, TN, USA; Missouri Tigers defensive end Johnny Walker Jr. (15) sneaks a peak into the backfield against the Iowa Hawkeyes during the first half at Nissan Stadium. He is a refined pass rusher with a variety of pass rush moves, and he performed well at the East-West Shrine Bowl in January. Walker may never be a top-tier pass rusher in the league, but he has the skill set to potentially be a quality rotational pass rusher and special-teams contributor in the NFL.

LB Karene Reid, Utah

Reid is an undersized linebacker with short arm length. Though not a physically gifted player, Reid is an experienced and incredibly smart football player who had good production in college. Reid was a team captain at Utah who played in 43 career games and made 39 starts. He is a quick processor with great instincts and plays the game with a red-hot motor. Reid’s lack of size, athleticism, and questionable coverage ability limit his potential in the NFL. Reid will likely have to also stand out in special teams to make the roster, and while he lacks a ton of special-teams experience, he has the skill set to be a great special-teams player and depth linebacker in the NFL.

OL Xavier Truss, Georgia

Like Walker and Reid, Truss is a highly experienced college football player. He played in 67 games with 42 starts at Georgia. Truss offers a ton of valuable experience against high-level competition at the college level. He also provides positional versatility. Truss played a majority of his snaps at right tackle, but he was a full-time left guard in 2022, took 148 snaps at right guard during his college career, and even took a few snaps at left tackle. He likely fits best as a guard in the NFL, but he has the ability to fill in at either tackle or guard spot if needed, which, paired with his experience against high-level competition, makes him an ideal depth offensive lineman to have on the team.

Truss is a very inconsistent player who plays with a high pad level and below-average footwork. Despite being a more experienced prospect, Truss still has a lot of work to do to refine his game, but with his experience, versatility, good size, and decent athleticism, Truss could earn a spot as a developmental depth player on the offensive line.

Main Photo: [Vasha Hunt] – USA Today Sports

The Denver Broncos UDFA class includes several talented players who have a chance to make the team’s final 53-man roster.

[1647,15
32605,7469,7309
post-232448","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-draft","category-broncos","tag-2025-nfl-draft","tag-denver-broncos-draft","tag-denver-broncos-roster
["GET
