How high is RJ Harvey\u2019s dynasty outlook?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Dynasty Outlook for RJ Harvey<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>Current Production<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Harvey spent his entire career at UCF and really<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/rj-harvey-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">exploded onto the scene in his final two seasons<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In 2023, he had 226 carries for 1416 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns. Then, he backed that up in 2024 with 232 carries for 1577 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns. He has some pass-catching ability, averaging around 20 receptions a year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Harvey only saw three carries in his rookie season in 2020 and missed the entire 2021 season with an ACL tear. Before he was drafted, he was the RB60, which shows that fantasy managers are loving his destination. He is behind Jaylen Wright, Ray Davis, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/26\/rhamondre-stevenson-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Rhamondre Stevenson<\/a> while ahead of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/26\/javonte-williams-dynasty-outlook-cowboys\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Javonte Williams<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/03\/14\/devin-neal-2025-nfl-draft-profile\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Devin Neal<\/a>, and Tyler Allgeier. Harvey easily has the highest ceiling among any of these players. His ranking will continue to skyrocket throughout the offseason. Many mock drafts had them selecting a running back in the first round, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/01\/30\/2025-nfl-draft-scouting-report-omarion-hampton-north-carolina\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Omarion Hampton<\/a>. They decided to go defense in the first round and take Harvey in the second round.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With Javonte Williams leaving the Broncos in free agency to go to the Cowboys, the running back room is wide open. Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin are still on the team, but expect Harvey to take the job over. The Broncos used a second-round pick on Harvey to make him the guy in the backfield. This is the type of player that head coach Sean Payton was waiting to have to lead the backfield.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Broncos have one of the best defenses in the league, and they will look to control the game tempo by rushing the ball. Quarterback <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2025\/04\/23\/bo-nix-broncos-quarterback-dynasty-outlook\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Bo Nix<\/a> is a game manager who wants to keep the offense under control. Harvey will play a big part in that.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Should You Draft RJ Harvey in Dynasty Leagues?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Absolutely! Harvey is in one of the best locations for a rookie running back. He should easily be a top-five rookie running back for 2025 and beyond. This is his backfield, and Payton will look to get him involved. Harvey is a player I will be looking to draft both in dynasty rookie drafts and in redraft leagues for 2025.
