First-year Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel is remaking the team in his own image, and the first order of business could be a Kayshon Boutte trade. A sixth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft<\/a>, the LSU product didn’t do much as a rookie but broke out during the 2024 campaign. One of the few bright spots during Jerod Mayo’s short-lived tenure, the wide receiver finished the season with a respectable 43 receptions for 589 yards and three touchdowns. While he’s far from a future All-Pro, he demonstrated an ability to make plays down the field and come through in big moments.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, that may not be enough to save his job. According to Jordan Schultz of\u00a0Fox Sports<\/em><\/a>, Vrabel and company could trade Kayshon Boutte if the right offer reaches their desk. The wide receiver probably won’t net more than a late-round pick, but if the Patriots fall in love with a Day 3 prospect, they could decide he’s worth the risk. While Boutte isn’t a star, the following four teams could use a proven depth option like him on the roster.<\/p>\n
