He didn’t see any playing time during his freshman year, failing to appear in a single contest. 2021 didn’t see him record any statistics either, but he was a solid piece on special teams.

Robinson took a big playtime step in 2022, appearing in every game. He recorded his first collegiate sack to go with seven total tackles. 2023 was another improvement, accumulating 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss to go with 24 tackles. He converted into a hybrid pass rusher in 2024, making four sacks with seven TFLs and a forced fumble.

Accolades:

Shrine Bowl Invitee (2024)

Strengths/Pros:

Robinson’s athletic ability is incredibly noticeable, and he moves quicker than most other EDGEs. He’s a sharp lateral mover when adjusting around the line and can rotate around to attack multiple points. He can switch gaps mid-play with great explosiveness through his legs, closing rushing lanes in an instant. He’s a very twitchy athlete, throwing his body around a ton and making it very difficult for blockers to keep him within their base. He can absolutely launch out of his stance and fly into the backfield through early gaps, and he has the power and rotational abilities to throw blockers aside while continuing to drive downhill.

Robinson’s first punch is powerful when he flies into blockers, and he rips through them. His shoulders are strong enough to work through linemen when he splits interior gaps and adjusts his lower half with savviness to work through traffic while keeping his momentum. He has the athleticism to sink into coverage and can cover underneath routes well. He has solid awareness in coverage of routes working into his zone and identifies RPOs to his size swiftly.

Weaknesses/Cons:

Robinson is, by all accounts, an undersized pass rusher. He doesn’t have the size or force to consistently finish ankle tackles, and struggles to hold his ground near the line and sink into a strong anchor. He gets bullied easily when hit with a help blocker, and he takes too long to identify and adjust to them. His legs get slower, and he works into his upper half too often when he’s engaged with blockers, lowering his power output.

His aforementioned initial punch is solid, but he needs to sustain his arm drive when he offsets tackles early and gets immediate leverage. Robinson lets his arms buckle too often and gets caught driving his shoulders into blockers instead of using his arms. He gets rotational too often and can get redirected and/or lose his view of the play. He mistimes the snap too often, getting caught in his heels. His coverage issues stem from taking too soft angles, letting space open up underneath.

Potential Team Fits:

Atlanta Falcons

Dallas Cowboys

Los Angeles Chargers

NFL Projection:

Robinson could very easily sneak into Day 2 in a widely-regarded weaker draft class, and he has the tools to become an instant impact contributor. His ability to make plays all around the field is extremely desirable. He also has the speed-to-power transitions to make him a dangerous pass rusher, if developed correctly. His undersized frame and lack of high-end force caps his every-play impact, but he can be a nice rotational defender at multiple positions for a team.

Prospect Grade:

Mid to Late 4th Round

Film Exposures:

2024 vs. LSU

2024 vs. Tennessee

2024 vs. Georgia

Main Photo: Steve Roberts – Imagn Images

Overview And Film Analysis Of 2025 NFL Draft Prospect And Alabama EDGE Que Robinson, A Quick And Athletic Pass Rusher.

[1647,33760
2030,33454
post-226564","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-draft","category-profiles","tag-nfl-draft-profiles","tag-que-robinson
["GET
