With Ronnie Stanley re-signing with the Baltimore Ravens, several tackle-needy teams will be fighting over an underwhelming crop of free agents highlighted by guys like Cam Robinson and Dan Moore. Moses missed three games last year with an MCL injury, but the latest medical report could make him the most coveted tackle available.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Morgan Moses was “given a clean bill of health” from the New York Jets medical staff, meaning the free agent is arguably the best tackle on the market. While he struggled to play through a knee injury last year, the following five teams could bet on him recapturing his pre-injury form in 2025.

Free Agent Morgan Moses Receives Positive Update – 5 Possible Next Teams

Possible Fits

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots desperately need to fix their offensive line. Mike Onwenu is an above-average guard who can play tackle in a pinch, but the other four spots could use an upgrade. Morgan Moses is a right tackle by trade, and even the injured version of himself was better than DeMontrey Jacobs. UNC’s Drake Maye showed remarkable promise as a rookie, but they must improve the blocking to keep him healthy for a full 17-game season.

New Orleans Saints

Derek Carr is back, and his latest contract restructure heavily suggests he’ll be in town for at least the next two seasons. For better or worse, the Saints will not blow it up under General Manager Mickey Loomis, so they must build around Carr’s strengths and weaknesses. Carr is one of the league’s worst passers against pressure, and the Saints have a below-average offensive line. While first-round pick Taliese Fuaga is promising, right tackle could use an upgrade, and Morgan Moses could be the perfect free agent signing.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks decided Geno Smith is not their quarterback of the future and will likely move forward with Sam Darnold. Darnold had a fantastic season with the Minnesota Vikings, but he put up those numbers behind a strong offensive line. Historically speaking, Darnold falls apart against pressure, and the Seahawks have one of the league’s worst offensive lines. Signing Morgan Moses and pairing him with another guard could get the most out of the former first-overall pick.

Tennessee Titans

Whether it’s Will Levis, Miami’s Cam Ward, or a veteran, the Tennessee Titans passing attack will not thrive with the current offensive line. First-round pick JC Latham looks like he has a bright future in this league, but Nicholas Petit-Frere and John Ojukwu are not starting-caliber options. Head coach Brian Callahan must start winning games to save his job, so signing Morgan Moses as a free agent could help him return in 2026.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have a major issue at the tackle position. 2024 second-round pick Kingsley Suamataia had a disastrous rookie season and early reports indicate the team will move him to guard for the 2025 campaign. This leaves a gaping hole at tackle, and Morgan Moses can help fill that void. While Moses is a right tackle, Kansas City originally signed Jawaan Taylor to protect the blindside. Perhaps they can revisit that original plan and find five starting-caliber linemen for Patrick Mahomes.

Main Photo: Darren Yamashita – Imagn Images

Impending free agent Morgan Moses has been medically cleared and should draw some interest on the open market.

[6,36
7811,8312,7330,246,7659
post-221530","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-jets","category-nfl-news","tag-chiefs-featured","tag-morgan-moses","tag-new-york-jets-news","tag-nfl-news","tag-saints-featured
["GET
