Dalton Kincaid is no exception, as his numbers decreased from his rookie season. That being said, Kincaid is still young, and Josh Allen lacks a standout number-one target. There’s no reason why Kincaid can’t evolve into that target for him. This is how Dalton Kincaid’s dynasty outlook looks in a changed Bills offense.

Dalton Kincaid: Dynasty Outlook for Bills Tight End

Current Production

There’s no denying that Kincaid’s season was disappointing. He missed four games but ended with only 44 receptions, 448 yards, and two touchdowns. He could not build upon a promising second half of 2023, even with Stefon Diggs departing. The Bills became more of a rushing-oriented team and had several blowouts in which the starters were rested, two factors that did not help Kincaid’s case.

In fantasy, Kincaid was projected as a top-five tight end but finished as the TE20 in points per game. He only scored more than 10 points three times all season. His volume wasn’t bad, having averaged nearly six targets per game, but his lack of yardage and touchdowns hurt him. Kincaid dynasty owners will hope that more experience and reps can earn him a more prominent role in 2025.

Kincaid Dynasty Price

KeepTradeCut lists Kincaid as the TE9 and 112th player overall. He started the season as the TE4 in dynasty but has now moved behind names like Tucker Kraft and incoming rookie Colston Loveland. The slip in ranking reflects his subpar season, but it is still high enough to show that people believe in Kincaid.

Tight ends aren’t very valuable on the trade market. Most trades involving Kincaid on FantasyCalc are for second or third-round picks or as part of a package for a more valuable player. Kincaid’s price shouldn’t be too hefty, but he’s still seen as a starting tight end in dynasty leagues.

Kincaid Dynasty Outlook

The biggest positive about Kincaid is his age. He’s only 25 and was a first-round pick in 2023 for a reason. He has the tools to be successful in the NFL, and he’s shown that. 2025 is also the last guaranteed year of Dawson Knox’s contract in Buffalo, meaning that, in theory, Kincaid would be splitting far fewer snaps starting in 2026.

The Bills have some talent at receiver between Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, and Amari Cooper. Still, Kincaid can provide a different dimension with his size and ability in the middle of the field. Kincaid has the potential to grow as a touchdown threat and as a consistent six- to seven-reception tight end, which would go a long way in PPR formats.

What to Do With Dalton Kincaid in Dynasty Leagues

Now is an opportunity to buy low on Kincaid. He wouldn’t be too expensive, and he’s young in a position that is not loaded with talent. He’s attached to Josh Allen and an excellent offense in Buffalo. It’s hard to imagine that Kincaid will be worse in 2025 than in 2024, so don’t sell him now.

Main Photo: [Tina MacIntyre-Yee/Democrat and Chronicle] – USA Today Sports

It wasn’t the sophomore campaign that Dalton Kincaid would have hoped for, but there is still plenty of promise.
