Adam Thielen has been as good as a 34-year-old receiver can be, but he can’t be the top option forever. Xavier Legette was supposed to alleviate that problem, but with just under 500 yards this year he’s far from a sure thing. The Panthers have a couple of options in the 2025 NFL draft, and here are three options in the first, middle and late rounds they could target.

Three Pass Catchers the Carolina Panthers Should Target in the 2025 NFL Draft

Round One Panthers Draft Target: Tyler Warren, TE Penn State

Tyler Warren did it all for Penn State. He was their top receiver this year, their Wildcat quarterback, and a monster run blocking. Eight overall might be steep for a tight end, but watch his film study and try to find a reason he wouldn’t improve this offense. He brings a different skillset to the tight end position than Ja’Tavion Sanders does, and could allow them to be multiple in their personnel packages.

Tyler Warren is a 22-year-old tight end fresh off a 1,400 yard season for the Nittany Lions. While he didn’t breakout until this past season, he was stuck in a logjam common with Penn State tight ends. He’s expected to be a first-round pick, and could even be available in a trade down scenario.

Day Two Panthers Draft Target: Tre Harris, WR Ole Miss

For anyone who uses yards per route run (YPRR) to help with their wide receiver evaluations, Tre Harris is off the charts. He had 9.85 YPRR against man coverage this year, which is the highest total since PFF started tracking it in 2015. He’s not just a spreadsheet merchant, as his film is actually pretty exciting as well. Harris is a fluid mover for a big-bodied receiver, and could be the X while Legette gets more designed touches and Coker rotates in. Adding Harris would make the Panthers receivers one of the largest groups in the league, so all they would need is a smaller slot option after Thielen retires.

Tre Harris is a 22-year-old wide receiver prospect who transferred from Louisiana Tech to Ole Miss ahead of the 2022 season. He holds the Ole Miss single game receiving touchdowns record.

Day Three Panthers Draft Target: LeQuint Allen, RB Syracuse

This one is a little outside the box, but walk with me. Allen’s best attributes are as a receiver out of the backfield, and his skillset leads him to be a 1b as a running back. While Jonathan Brooks is recovering, the team needs another option when Chuba Hubbard needs a breather. If Brooks comes back and is the 1b, that’s great news! Allen played over 10% of his snaps from the slot at Syracuse. If Brooks comes back and doesn’t look like the same player, that’s still fine, as the Panthers would have a backup plan in place.

Allen is a 20-year-old running back prospect with two 1,000 yard seasons on his resume. He was the best player on the Syracuse offense in each of the last two seasons, and has received his combine invite.

Watch – Podcast Debate About LeQuint Allen

Main Photo Credit: Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

The Panthers 2025 NFL Draft will be a pivotal one, as they need to address their pass catchers all over the field.

[30,1647
32605,33303,7661,33304,33015
post-216648","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-panthers","category-nfl-draft","tag-2025-nfl-draft","tag-lequint-allen","tag-panthers-featured","tag-tre-harris","tag-tyler-warren
["GET
