Only <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BradTo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tom Brady<\/a><\/strong> (97) and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RodgAa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aaron Rodgers<\/a><\/strong> (90) have more wins during that span.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Whether You Like Him or Not, Matt Ryan is Elite<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3>So what has Matt Ryan done to help lead the Falcons to 85 wins?<\/h3>\n<p>No one in NFL history has more completions through their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RyanMa00.htm#all_passing\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">first nine seasons than Ryan\u2019s 3,288.<\/a> Ryan broke this record, previously held by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MannPe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Peyton Manning<\/a><\/strong> (3,133), during the Falcons\u2019 week-nine victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2016. Furthermore, Ryan has thrown for at least 4,000 yards in six-consecutive seasons, tying Peyton Manning (1999-2004) for the second-longest streak in NFL history.<\/p>\n<p>Last season, led by Ryan, the Falcons had the most potent offense in the NFL that put up 540 points on their way to\u00a0securing their third NFC South title since 2010. Not only was that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/blog\/statsinfo\/post\/_\/id\/129236\/top-10-stats-on-patriots-falcons-heading-into-super-bowl-li\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">first time in franchise history<\/a> that the Falcons led the NFL in scoring, but it was also the eighth most points ever scored in an NFL season.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and his 55-straight games of 200 or more passing yards in a game is an NFL record. The last time Ryan failed to throw for at least 200 yards came against the Seahawks Nov. 11, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>In the last season\u2019s playoffs, Ryan <a href=\"http:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/2690342-matt-ryan-carries-nfl-postseason-record-into-super-bowlhttp:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/2690342-matt-ryan-carries-nfl-postseason-record-into-super-bowl\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">set the record for<\/a>\u00a0most consecutive playoff games (4) with at least three passing touchdowns. Throughout the playoffs Ryan threw for 1,014 yards, completing 71.4 percent of his passes, nine touchdowns and zero interceptions.
