The Senior Bowl just got over this past weekend and some of the talent there will find its way onto NFL rosters when the dust settles after the draft. Perhaps there were some players that the Bears were interested in that they may pursue.

Chicago makes their pick in the tenth spot in the first round of this year’s draft. This is a pick that they must hit on and they must find a player that fits a big need on the team. There are a lot of opinions on what the biggest needs on the team are but in past posts, it’s been stressed that the offensive and defensive lines need some serious help. It all starts up front, and the Bears need help up front on both sides of the ball.

The question at number ten is, do you pick the best player available or do you pick for need? One would think that the Bears would be able to pick the best player available for their biggest needs.
The time to predict what teams are going to do in the 2025 NFL Draft is upon us. The Bears are not immune from prognosticators who wish to try to nail down exactly what they will do.
For this, we will look at three potential prospects who should be available by the time the Bears make their pick in the first round. They are in no particular order.

Three Early Possibilities for the Chicago Bears 2025 NFL Draft

Will Campbell

There aren’t any defensive linemen in this list as the Bears need offensive line help. To start, the Bears might get lucky and be able to draft Will Campbell. He is an offensive lineman from LSU. Campbell played tackle, primarily, but he could fit in at guard and that might make a great bit of sense for the Bears.

Campbell is thought to be the best offensive lineman in the 2025 NFL Draft. It’s possible that he might not be around when the Bears make their first pick. They could do something that they rarely do and trade up in the draft to grab Campbell, but they would likely either wait for him to fall to them or take someone else. But they may not play it “safe”.

It’s hard to deny the ability that Campbell has. He has a great attitude and can be a leader. Mechanically, he is strong and gets good balance and leverage. On the downside, Campbell has shorter arms and needs a little work on his technique. But for now, he represents the best of the draft when it comes to offensive linemen.

Kelvin Banks

Now, Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks might have something to say about Campbell being the best of the bunch. The massive, 6’4” 324-pound Longhorn might just be the best thanks to his ability to play the highly coveted left tackle position. If he can prove that he could come in and start right away, he just might be the first offensive lineman off the board. This depends on how the next few weeks, with the combine and individual workouts, go. Don’t be shocked if he ends up in a Bears uniform when it’s all said and done.

Armand Membou

Finally, there is Missouri right tackle Armand Membou. Membou is another monster, coming in at 6’5” and 332 pounds. He’s a guy who could improve his draft stock with a great combine and individual workout performances. What’s to like about him? Some will point out that he has range and a great combination of power and strength.

Of course, every player has his downside. Membou’s is that he needs to work on his technique a bit and is just a tad raw. Is that the kind of guy that you want to take in the first round of the draft? If he can learn quickly and starts right away, of course, he’s someone that you would want. Membou is going to be an interesting player to watch this off-season to see how his draft stock goes.

Main Photo: Ken Ruinard / staff-USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The 2025 NFL Draft is one way the Chicago Bears can help fill their needs and get some players who will help in the long run.

[23,1647
32977,7726,33097,32624
post-214823","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bears","category-nfl-draft","tag-armand-membou","tag-chicago-bears-draft","tag-kelvin-banks-jr","tag-will-campbell
["GET
