The <\/span>San Francisco 49ers<\/span><\/a> are facing several roster changes this offseason. They must pay <\/span>Brock Purdy<\/span><\/a>, decide on Deebo Samuel’s future, and identify what areas to target in the draft. Despite their tough season, Ricky Pearsall is a player who showed he can be part of their future success. <\/span>This<\/span> is the dynasty outlook for Pearsall.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ricky Pearsall: Dynasty Outlook for Young 49ers Receiver<\/span><\/h2>\n

Current Production<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 49ers drafted Pearsall in the first round in 2024, perhaps due to the uncertainty regarding <\/span>Brandon Aiyuk<\/span><\/a> and Deebo Samuel in the offseason. Once everything <\/span>was sorted<\/span> and both players stayed on the team, Pearsall’s role seemed limited. To make matters worse, Pearsall <\/span>was shot in August,<\/span><\/a> meaning he did not <\/span>make his<\/span> debut until Week 7.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aiyuk’s injury and Samuel’s struggles meant that Pearsall had his moments to shine. It<\/span>\u00a0wasn’t the most productive season, but he finished with 400 receiving yards and three touchdowns despite only starting four games.<\/span> His breakout performance came in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions, where he caught eight passes for 141 yards and a touchdown.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pearsall<\/span> Dynasty Price<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

At 24, Pearsall was older than most rookies, but that also means he’ll enter his peak sooner. <\/span>KeepTradeCut<\/span><\/a> has him as the WR39 in <\/span>dynasty<\/span>, and that ranking stayed consistent throughout the season. Some players ranked near Pearsall include Dalton Kincaid, Tyrone Tracy Jr<\/a>., and Zach Charbonnet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pearsall is versatile, usually lining up in the slot but has the size and speed to line up out wide. Kyle Shanahan has used him on a few jet sweeps to great effect. There’s no doubt that Pearsall’s future is bright, the only issue is that the 49ers are so loaded for the time being. Most trades involving Pearsall on <\/span>Fantasycalc<\/span><\/a> involve young pieces and second-round picks. Pearsall is gettable for a reasonable price, but be ready to part ways with some decent pieces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pearsall<\/span> Dynasty Outlook<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

2025 will be an important year for Pearsall. The 49ers will likely get back on track; the roster is too talented for them to stay off course for too long. One of the most important parts of fantasy is <\/span>being tied<\/span> to a good offense, and Pearsall is. The bigger doubt is his role. Aiyuk, Samuel, and Jauan Jennings<\/a> are all ahead of him in the pecking order.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, Aiyuk is unlikely to be fully healthy to start 2025 <\/span>and<\/span> Samuel’s role has changed significantly. Pearsall being the WR3 or possibly even WR2 for a short stretch in this offense gives him tremendous upside. There is a path for Pearsall to be an essential piece in this offense. <\/span>Moving past 2025<\/span>, his role will only increase with Samuel, <\/span>George Kittle<\/span><\/a>, and others aging out.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What to Do With <\/span><\/strong>Ricky Pearsall\u00a0<\/span>in Dynasty Leagues<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you’re looking to contend now, <\/span>it would be wise to<\/span> trade Pearsall.<\/span> He’s unlikely to be more than a WR3 in fantasy in 2025. However, there may be an opportunity to sell high on him in the first few weeks of the season before Aiyuk returns. Teams with a younger core should keep Pearsall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
