These three quarterbacks have varying levels of experience in the NFL, but they are coming off of a season where they didn’t get to show their full potential.

Note: A player being “buy low” means their value now is lower than what it will be when the season begins in late August or early September. These quarterbacks may require a first-round pick and/or players to acquire.

Three Buy-Low Quarterbacks for Dynasty Leagues

Anthony Richardson

Anthony Richardson may be one of the most frustrating players for fantasy football, but you shouldn’t give up on him just yet. Every NFL coach will tell you he has the athleticism and strength to be an NFL quarterback. It all just has to come together for him.

Even in 2024, Richardson produced three top-10 finishes among fantasy quarterbacks. However, he also produced four games where he finished as a bottom-10 quarterback. It’s the inconsistency that kills his fantasy value, but he’s a dual-threat quarterback. He makes plays with his legs that very few quarterbacks can replicate.

Bills star QB Josh Allen talking about Colts QB Anthony Richardson’s new biometrics coach, Chris Hess.

Richardson is about to LEVEL UP 📈

(h/t @ColtsFanCole)pic.twitter.com/qNA7onlw3F

— Dov Kleiman (@NFL_DovKleiman) January 21, 2025

Let’s not forget as well that Richardson will only be 23 years old when the 2025 season starts. Some quarterbacks don’t even enter the league until they are 23 or 24 years old. The Indianapolis Colts certainly would have benefitted from having him sit behind a veteran for a few seasons. Now, they must give him as many weapons as possible to succeed.

Richardson is currently the QB23 in KeepTradeCut’s dynasty rankings and the 71st player overall. The upside is there as both a passer and runner. His value will rise as the season draws closer, so grab him while you still can as a buy-low quarterback.

Trevor Lawrence

Trevor Lawrence being on this list may raise some questions, but he certainly falls into this category. Lawrence missed seven games last season due to injury. However, he still produce three top-10 finishes and posted 300+ yards twice in 2024.

In 2023 when he was perfectly healthy, Lawrence totaled 258.3 fantasy points and averaged 17.2 fantasy points per game. The writing is on the wall for him to be good especially with Brian Thomas Jr. as his top receiver.

This duo might be a problem 😳

Trevor Lawrence resurgence incoming 👀#NFL | #DUUUVAL pic.twitter.com/PN7zxvVWvw

— FanDuel Sportsbook (@FDSportsbook) January 24, 2025

The Jacksonville Jaguars could certainly benefit from providing Lawrence with another receiver behind BTJ. New head coach Liam Cohen is going to help revive the offense and allow Lawrence to reach his full potential.

Lawrence is currently the QB17 in dynasty rankings and the 47th player overall. His value right now is about as low as it can go, so he is the ideal buy-now candidate for teams who need a quarterback.

Michael Penix Jr.

Michael Penix Jr. took over for Kirk Cousins in Week 16, and he is going into 2025 as the team’s starter. In his three starts, he averaged 258 yards per game — highlighted by 312 yards in Week 18 against the Carolina Panthers. He showed great promise, but there a few things that still push him into the buy-low category for quarterbacks.

While he looked sharp, three games is a very small sample size. Countless quarterbacks have looked good in three games and then became backups two seasons later (i.e. Kenny Pickett). Penix also had a plethora of injuries in college that could be reaggravated in the NFL.

Michael Penix pic.twitter.com/zHIhz3DAVc

— Ian Hartitz (@Ihartitz) January 13, 2025

He showed great chemistry with Drake London in his three regular season games, and the Atlanta Falcons believe he can be their next franchise quarterback. His accuracy and ability to throw in tight windows is already showing.

Penix is currently the QB15 in dynasty rankings and the 41st player overall. To put it simply, his value won’t be any lower as a starting quarterback in the NFL.

Main Photo Courtesy of Brett Davis – Imagn Images

As the dynasty offseason progresses, these three quarterbacks are buy-low targets for you to acquire for your teams.

[59,32631
9564,9741,9504,32243,6249
post-212592","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-dynasty","tag-anthony-richardson","tag-dynasty-buy-low","tag-dynasty-fantasy-football","tag-michael-penix-jr","tag-trevor-lawrence
["GET
