There are always plenty of high-profile draft prospects still available, and it’s where teams differentiate themselves in terms of draft knowledge. After watching the Chicago Bears make a good (or bad) first-round pick, anticipation builds as fans argue who’s the top option on Day Two. With the Bears holding two second-round selections in this upcoming draft, the possibilities are endless.

Bears’ Selections in Round Two:

Pick 39

Pick 41

Ranking the Best Fits for the Bears in Round Two of the 2025 NFL Draft

1. OL Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona

If Jonah Savaiinaea were to fall to the second round, the Bears should do everything in their power to draft him. A fitting quote about Savaiinaea is, “If you see Jonah fighting a bear in the forest, help the bear!” He’s a ferocious player at the line of scrimmage and will punish defenders once he gets his hands on them. Savaiinaea’s football IQ, combined with physical gifts at 6’5″ and 336 pounds makes him the ideal offensive lineman for any NFL team. For the Bears, plugging him in at right guard next to Darnell Wright could form a formidable duo for years to come. They should even consider trading back into the late end of the first round to draft Savaiinaea, he’s that good.

2. DT Deone Walker, Kentucky

The amazing part about having two second-round picks is the Bears have an opportunity to draft both Jonah Savaiinaea and Deone Walker. Walker is another draft crush, with rare physical traits at 6’6″ and 345 pounds. Watching tape on Walker, what stands out is how well he moves for his size. It seems like he can make any play and is exceptional as a run-stuffer. He’d be a perfect complement to Gervon Dexter Sr., and Bleacher Report’s pro comparison for Walker was Dexter Sr., so the Bears would likely be interested in drafting him.

3. DT Walter Nolen, Ole Miss

Walter Nolen’s ability to play across the defensive line combined with his athleticism is the reason why he’ll become a top NFL defensive lineman. His knack for disrupting plays in the backfield and relentless energy make him an ideal addition for the Bears.

4. ED Princely Umanmielen, Ole Miss

The other Ole Miss defensive stud, Princely Umanmielen is an explosive pass rusher with a diverse pass-rush skillset. A close friend to Gervon Dexter Sr., Umanmielen accelerates off the line of scrimmage and won’t have much trouble sacking the quarterback. He’ll need to practice shedding blocks, but his physical traits are hard to pass up on.

5. OL Wyatt Milum, West Virginia

Wyatt Milum started all four years in college and developed into one of college football’s top offensive linemen. He has the strength and hands to lock defenders up, and the athleticism to keep up with faster pass rushers. With experience at multiple positions, Milum could become a valuable asset for the Bears’ offensive line.

6. ED Mike Green, Marshall

Leading the FBS in sacks with 17, Mike Green is a prospect to keep an eye on. He has the burst and pass-rush moves to make an impact during the game and has a relentless motor. He’ll need to add some weight, but with time Green can become a premier pass rusher opposite Montez Sweat.

7. OL Grey Zabel, North Dakota State

The Bears need all the help they can get upfront, and Grey Zabel can provide just that. He’s played at all five positions in college, with last season at left tackle. Zabel “plays every snap like it’s the last time he’ll ever touch a football field” and that should excite Bears fans. The question of what position he’ll play in the NFL is still to be determined, but he should develop into a long-term starter in the NFL.

Main Image: Matt Pendleton – USA Today Sports

With a pair of second-round selections in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Bears have a plethora of options to land potential cornerstone players.

[23,1647
32605,7403,33170,33135,32993,32930,1173,32868,33171,32964
post-210694","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bears","category-nfl-draft","tag-2025-nfl-draft","tag-chicago-bears-news","tag-deone-walker","tag-grey-zabel","tag-jonah-savaiinaea","tag-mike-green","tag-nfl-draft","tag-princely-umanmielen","tag-walter-nolen","tag-wyatt-milum
["GET
