Below is a list of the key injuries to hit some of the NFL teams during action in week two.<\/p>\n<h2>Adrian Peterson and DeMarcus Ware Lead List of NFL Injuries in Week Two<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Minnesota Vikings &#8211; running back Adrian Peterson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Peterson left Sunday Night&#8217;s game against the\u00a0<strong>Green Bay Packers\u00a0<\/strong>with an injury to his right knee, and needed to be helped to the locker room. An MRI on Monday revealed that the <strong>All-Pro\u00a0<\/strong>running back tore his meniscus in his right knee, but head coach\u00a0<strong>Mike Zimmerman<\/strong> hasn&#8217;t ruled Peterson out for week three.\u00a0In 2011, Peterson tore his ACL and MCL ligaments in his left knee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Denver Broncos &#8211; defensive end DeMarcus Ware<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DeMarcus Ware suffered a fracture in his forearm during the\u00a0<strong>Denver Broncos\u00a0<\/strong>34-20 win over the\u00a0<strong>Indianapolis Colts\u00a0<\/strong>on Sunday. The nine-time\u00a0<strong>Pro-Bowler\u00a0<\/strong>fractured his ulna, which is one of two bones that&#8217;s in the forearm, and could miss three to four weeks, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ProFootballTalk\/status\/777689488361488384\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according to\u00a0<strong>Pro Football Talk<\/strong><\/a><strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>Ware will undergo further testing on Monday to see if surgery will be necessary. As long as the bones haven&#8217;t shifted in his forearm, Ware could play through the injury with a protective cast on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleveland Browns &#8211; quarterback\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McCoJo01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Josh McCown<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Quarterback\u00a0<strong>Josh McCown\u00a0<\/strong>of the\u00a0<strong>Cleveland Browns\u00a0<\/strong>suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday&#8217;s 25-20 loss to the\u00a0<strong>Baltimore Ravens.\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cleveland.com\/browns\/index.ssf\/2016\/09\/browns_josh_mccown_out_with_le.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">According to\u00a0<strong>Mary Kay Cabot\u00a0<\/strong>of the\u00a0<\/a><strong>Plain Dealer,\u00a0<\/strong>the Browns are preparing themselves to be without the veteran signal caller for at least several weeks.<\/p>\n<p>McCown is scheduled for an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of his injury. This will be the second quarterback in as many weeks to be injured for the Browns. Third-round pick\u00a0<strong>Cody Kessler\u00a0<\/strong>will make his first\u00a0<strong>NFL\u00a0<\/strong>start next Sunday against the\u00a0<strong>Miami Dolphins\u00a0<\/strong>if McCown is unable to play.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New England Patriots &#8211; quarterback\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GaroJi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jimmy Garoppolo<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jimmy Garoppolo\u00a0<\/strong>of the\u00a0<strong>New England Patriots\u00a0<\/strong>injured his throwing shoulder in the second quarter of the Patriots 31-24 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Garoppolo has been diagnosed with a sprained AC joint and as of now, is expected to miss Thursday Night&#8217;s game against the\u00a0<strong>Houston Texans.\u00a0<\/strong>The Patriots are likely to go with\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BrisJa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jacoby Brissett<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>if Garoppolo is unable to go, per\u00a0<strong>Ian Rapoport\u00a0<\/strong>of the\u00a0<strong>NFL Network.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>San Diego Chargers &#8211; running back\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WoodDa02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Danny Woodhead<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The San Diego Chargers multi-purpose running back,\u00a0<strong>Danny Woodhead,\u00a0<\/strong>will miss the rest of the 2016 season with a torn ACL in his right knee. Woodhead suffered the injury during the Chargers 38-14 win over the\u00a0<strong>Jacksonville Jaguars\u00a0<\/strong>on Sunday. Woodhead was carted off the field in the first quarter after being tackled by Jaguars linebacker\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SmitTe01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Telvin Smith<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>on a four-yard reception.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indianapolis Colts &#8211; wide receiver\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MoncDo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Donte Moncrief<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wide receiver <b>Donte Moncrief\u00a0<\/b>of the\u00a0<strong>Indianapolis Colts\u00a0<\/strong>was forced from Sunday&#8217;s game against the\u00a0<strong>Denver Broncos\u00a0<\/strong>with what the team said was a head and neck injury. Moncrief is scheduled for an MRI on Monday for his shoulder, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamSchefter\/status\/777840814554615809\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according to\u00a0<strong>Adam Schefter<\/strong><\/a> of\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ESPN<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Miami Dolphins &#8211; RB <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/F\/FostAr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arian Foster<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dolphins running back\u00a0<strong>Arian Foster<\/strong>\u00a0will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of his injured groin that he suffered during the Dolphins 31-24 loss to the\u00a0<strong>New England Patriots\u00a0<\/strong>on Sunday.
